Track irregularity simulation based on bogie test rig

Abstract: The test driving displacement spectrum is calculated based on the real measured railway track irregularity spectrum. Based on the recurrence of the railway track irregularity spectrum on a bogie test rig, a method is proposed to verify the test bench reproduction effect of the track irregularity. In this method, the decoupling calculation of the 3D movements of the platform is realized through the multi-point measurement of the moving platform. According to the decoupling method, parameter formulas of the horizontal, vertical and directional track irregularities were derived. The displacements of four points of the moving platform were real-time measured by four laser sensors, and based on the measured data, the real-time lateral and vertical displacements and roll angle were calculated. Experimental results show that the proposed verification method is feasible, and the railway track irregularity spectrum can be accurately reproduced on the test rig, which can provide ideal test conditions for line simulation test.
