Experimental Research on Freezing Adhesive between Mine Car Model and Coal Particles

Abstract: A model of mine car was developed to study freezing adhesion behavior between coal particles and metal surface.Effects of moisture content,temperature,freezing time and successive loading times before cleaning min car on freezing adhesion were studied experimentally,and it was found former 2 factors are necessary conditions for freezing adhesion while latter 2 factors are parameters affecting adhesion volume.Chemical adsorption between coal particles and metal surface and freezing force between ice layers appear to be mechanisms of freezing adhesion at low temperature.
