Abstract: The gray incidence degrees between the elements, including C, Re, Mn etc, and the properties, such as contactangle, hardness, cost etc, of the materials of bionic plow moldboard were computed using the test data. Quantitative relationship between elements and properties indices was analyzed. This study provides a research method for the development of bionic drag reduction materials for soilengaging components of terrain machinery.

Key words: bionics engineering, draft reduction material, soilengaging component, gray incidence degree analysis method
