Prediction of Multi Point Bending of Aluminium Strip under Different Loading Paths by Finite Element Polycrystal Model

Abstract: Numerical simulation of multi point bending process of strip under different loading paths is dealt with the finite element polycrystal model.The results of multi point forming of aluminium sheet under conditions of multi point die forming and edge to center forming are predicted by the developed FEPM software,which are the fields of equivalent tress,equivalent strain and average stress.Both calculated results and experimental results are verified.
