Multi-phase iterative compensation method of die shape optimization for multi-point stretch bending profile

Abstract:

The computation criterion of unit displacement of multi-point 3D stretch bending die was built. The fast iterative process of controlling multi-point die shape was achieved by using multi-phase compensation factors. Finite element simulation and experiment results show that the part springback value can be reduced from 6.87 mm to 1.03 mm, which demonstrates that the shape deviation and springback can be effectively controlled by the optimized die shape.
