Adhesion Behavior of Brush Plating Coatings Under Repeated Impact

Abstract: The impact tests of two brush plating (Ni-Cu-P and Ni-P) coatings are investigated using self built impact wear test rig.SEM is used to analyze the surface of the samples before and after impact.The adhesion characteristic of coatings under impact is discussed in detail.Surface contract adhesion of coatings is considered as one of main impact characteristics.The difference of two coatings is compared.
