Call admission control mechanism based on measurement-assisted and delay prediction for wireless sensor network

Abstract: In order to achieve the transmission of multimedia services in the wireless sensor networks(WSN),the call admission control (CAC) mechanism was designed based on the non-saturated model, which used the interactive measurement and distributed access control mechanism of delay prediction. Finally, the delay performance of the mechanism was simulated and analyzed based on the NS2 simulation platform. The simulation results show that the proposed mechanism can provide an effective delay guaranteed for real-time business.
