Component retrieval and matching algorithm based on description logics

Abstract: Based on facetbased approach, description logics were introduced as the formal method of knowledge representation. Description logics can be used to represent users' reuse requirements and components, so that they can match on the semantic level. A component retrieval and matching algorithm based on description logics was proposed. The algorithm calculates a real number to denote the matching degree of reuse requirement and any component. Thus the matching degree can help the user to find an appropriate component from the component library.
