直流电弧中TiN粉末的合成及形貌演化

Morphological Evolution of |TiN Powders Synthesized in Direct Current Arc Discharge

摘要:

采用直流弧光放电技术, 以金属钛为原料、 高纯氮气为工作介质制备了不同形貌的氮化钛(TiN). X射线衍射与选区电子衍射结果表明, 产物为纯单相立方氮化钛. 透射电子显微镜和扫描电子显微镜测试表明, 按温度由高到低分布, 在不同温度区域的样品分别由块状、 片层堆叠状和多孔状变为亚微米颗粒状和纳米颗粒状, 样品最佳合成气压为20 kPa. 

Abstract:

Titanium nitride with various morphologies was  successfully synthesized via direct current arc discharge method with  titanium metal as the reactant and nitrogen gas as the working medium. X\|ray diffraction and select area electron diffraction studies reveal that the product was composed of single\|phase cubic titanium nitride with few contaminations. Through transmission electron microscopy and scanning electron microscopy investigations, it was found that with the decreasing of temperature, the samples collected at different temperature zones had undergone the morphology evolution from block, through sheet  and porous structures to submicron particles and nanoparticles. An optimum gas pressure of 20 kPa was found for the synthesis of titanium nitride.
