用Yangian代数解除Rb金属原子简并态

Eliminating Degenerate State of Rb Atom by Yangian Algebra

摘要:

通过分析87Rb浓蒸汽的Zeeman效应, 将Breit-Rabi Hamilton量H=K·S+x(K+1/2)Sz推广到s=1, 并给出当x=±1时的简并态(即Zeeman效应消失). 采用Yangian代数Ysl(2)算子构造可区分这些简并态的算符, 将其作用于具有多重简并态系统可实现不同量子态间的跃迁, 从而达到解除简并态的目的.

Abstract:

Analysis of Zeeman effect in condensed vapor of 87Rb obtained the degenerate states of the Hamiltonian H=K·S+x(K+1/2)Sz with s=1 and x=±1. The new operator constructed of Yangian algebra (Ysl(2)), which can distinguish degenerate states,  is applied to multiple degenerate system to realize the transition between different quantum states so as to eliminate degenerate states.
