Abstract: The electrochemical polymerization of aniline on a nanocrystall ine titanium dioxide film e lectrode(Nano-TiO2) has been achieved by means of cyclic voltammetry in a medium of 1 mol/L sulfuric acid and s canning voltage range of -0.2~0.8 V at a rate of 100 mV/s. The complex film was charactered by TEM, AFM, XRD and FTTR. The result shows that the formation of the complex film and the values of peak current are influenced by the concent rations of sulfuric acid and aniline, the scanning rate and the scanning voltag e on Nano-TiO2. The higher the solution concentration is, the higher the rate of the membrane formation, whereas the stability of the membrane is decreased. The peak current increased with the elevating of scanning rate and p otential, but the reversibility decreased under the s ame condition. It also shows that the surface of TiO2 nanoparticles of 10~35 nm in diameter is incompletely coated by polyaniline.
