Purification and characterization of fatty acid from metabolites of mycoplana in the insulation oil

Abstract

Abstract: Using thin layer chromatography(TLC), liquid-chromatogram/mass spectrum(LC-MS), we separated a kind of fatty acid from the metabolites of mycoplana in transformer oil. And applying nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), we characterized its chemical structure. Finally we proved that this kind of fatty acid was sebacic acid whose chemical structural formula is COOH_CH₂_CH₂_CH₂_CH₂_CH₂_CH₂_CH₂_CH₂_COOH.
