Magnetocrystalline Anisotropy of (Nd1-xErx)3Fe27.31Ti1.69 Compounds

Abstract: Magnetocrystalline anisotropies of (Nd1-xErx)3Fe27.31Ti1.69 compounds were investigated by means of X-ray diffraction and VSM and magnetic measurements. All the compounds with χ in a range of 0~0.5 crystallize in Nd3(Fe,Ti)29-type structure. As temperature decreases from room temperature to 5 K, a spin reorientation from the easy plane to the easy cone occurs for (Nd1-xErx)3Fe27.31Ti1.69 compounds.
