Abstract:
The concentrations of Mn,Zn,Cu,Fe and Ca in human hair samples of 120 schoolboys and schoolgirls of Jilin University were determinated by inductively coupled plasmaatomic emission spectrometry. The data were analyzed with SPSS10.0 via a nonparametric test. Results were statistically compared. The concentrations of Cu and Zn were in the normal range and the concentration of Fe had a higher value in the schoolgirls and schoolboys than the reference value. The concentration of Ca was close to the normal value in the schoolboys. The concentrations of Ca in the schoolboys and Mn in the schoolboys and schoolgirls were lower than the reference values. The significantly difference was obtained in the statistical point of view for the concentrations of Cu, Zn and Ca in the schoolgirls and schoolboys and the concentrations of Mn and Cu in the freshmen and sophomore schoolgirls.
