BOOST Converter Design in 0.5 μm CMOS Technology

Portable communication devices demand DC-DC converter with low ripple output voltage and high efficiency,in order to solve this problem,a design of Synchronous rectification mode BOOST DC-DC converter circuit is proposed, providing higher chip conversion efficiency.The circuit design is  based on CSMC 0.5 μm CMOS technology and the circuit layout is realized with a standard 0.5 μm doublepoly threemetal CMOS process.The simulation results show that the proposed converter has advantages of stable out voltage,low ripple voltage and high power conversion efficiency.

Virtual Digital Lock-in Amplifier Based on Automatic Frequency Tracking

In order to avoid   the crosstalk between the measured signal and the reference signal, and the noise introduced during the transmission of the signal in traditional design, a virtual (DLIA:Digital Lock-In Amplifier) based on LabVIEW platform is designed. An  automatic frequency tracking module is used in this design, and the mismatch between the frequencies of the measured signal and the reference signal is greatly reduced. By optimizing the output signal, an excellent waveform was observed, based on the traditional quadrature phase sensitive detection algorithm. The experimental results show that the  SNR(Signal to Noise Ratio) of the measured signal is less than -20 dB, the minimum detectable amplitude is up to 10 μV, and the relative error of the frequencylocking  by the automatic frequency tracking module and that of the measured signal's amplitude are less than 0.02% and 0.05%, respectively.That there is good measuring stability of the designed virtual DLIA  with automatic frequency tracking module.

Improved Image Encryption Algorithm Based onHigh-Dimension Chaotic System

In order to solve the security problem during the transmission of digital image, according to the analysis of traditional image encryption using high\|dimension chaotic system, an improved algorithm of image encryption is given. It combines the methods of position shuffling and pixel value substituting in iterations, and makes the encrypted datastream having relation to the plaintext. It resolved the bugs of traditional algorithm in application. The results of theoretical analysis and simulated experiment show that the algorithm guarantees the security of encryption effectively and excellent effect of encryption, the encrypted result varies sensitively with any minimal changes of the initial secret key and the plaintext, the value of adjacent pixels satisfy zero correlation, showing that the algorithm is feasible, security and easy to operate.

Development of Software for Establishing Analytical Model of Irregular Surfaces in Discrete Element Method

It needs to establish analysis models of machine parts (boundaries),when use DEM(Discrete Element Method) to analyze the contact action between machine parts and granular materials.There exist irregular surfaces which can not be expressed by the elementary analytic function in the parts’ surfaces which contact with granular materials.The AFT(Advancing Front Technique)  was used to mesh and discrete irregular surfaces into the triangle planar units,parameters of movement characters and material properties were added in the same time,so the DEM analysis models of irregular surfaces was created.Based on the redevelopment of PRO/E software,the boundary modeling software of irregular surfaces was developed.By application examples,the feasibility of boundary modeling method and the software which based on the AFT was validated,which lays foundations for simulation and analysis of working process for machine parts with complex structure.

The size of the screen for popular mobile phones are small currently.In order to maintain the clear video stream without fluctuation,on the basis of the intra prediction encoding, an improved quadratic interpolation of DCT(Discrete Cosine Transform) coding optimization algorithm is proposed.Based on intra prediction coding of DCT mechanism,the quadratic interpolation using DCT coding can make a constant stream,make the small size of the screen blocking reduced,and make the video stream enhance clarity while maintaining the speed stability of the image.Experimental results show that traditional DCT transform in the small size of the screen block effects are more obvious,and coding is more complex.The DCT coding algorithm quadratic interpolation makes the image significantly clear,and also maintain a constant stream.

Previous method of cloud and its shadow removal in the remote sensing image focus on the geometrical characteristic recovery of coverd terrain,this method is against the information extraction  based on the spectral characteristics.A method based on the spectral characteristics of covered terrain category reconstruction was  proposed.Adopt two adjacent years phenophase remote sensing data,use normalized difference value and decision tree classification method to detect the thick cloud and its shadow,and extract corresponding regional surface coverage type information,in remote sensing image of two various bands,do the linear regression analysis to each surface feature of the covered terrain,to obtain the reconstructed data of the covered terrain.The experimental results show that the method can recover the geometry information of the covered terrain,and it also realizes its spectral information simulation.

In order to confirm whether the three closed loop of NC(numerical control)  cam grinding control system is steady,according to vector control principle,Make PMSM (Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor)  equivalent to DC Motor model,then rotational axis(Axis C) and wheel feed shaft (Axis X) are thoroughly analyzed by mechanism analysis.By using three loop control method (current loop-speed loop-position loop) which deduces transfer function gradually inside and outside,mathematical models of entire camshaft grinding servo system are established and emulated by Matlab.Results show that the three loop control system is steady,and this will lay the oretical basis in further study of high precision grinding.

At present, numbers of services are produced, which have same functions but different nonfunctions,due to the development of the SWS(Semantic Web Service). Therefore, in SWS match, match based on non-function is most important and hotspot to increase the precision of the match. The stat-of-the-art of SWS match based on non-function is presented. The basic concepts of SWS match are introduced. And then, from five questions, the recent research of SWS match based on non-function is comprehensively summarized and discussed. In the end, the questions and the future work of the study are proposed to help the future research.

In order to avoid many Gibbs algorithm defects,improve the ability of problem solving,improvements the ACO (Ant Colony Optimization):PSO (Particle Swarm Optimization) is made to optimize the parameters in the ACO.Pentium PC machine is the  experiment platform,operating system is Windows 2003 Server,development tools is  VB,the  traveling salesman problem is tsimalated.Results show that the computing time of the algorithm can be reduced by new methods.It had great effects in practicality and rapid processing of motif discovary.

SSB Modulation System Based on Hilbert Transformation and FPGA Implementation

Single-sideband modulation has many advantages such as small bandwidth, low\|power, etc in carrier modulation techniques.And because of the difficulty of realization, it has not been widely used today.We study the method of the single-sideband modulation based on Hilbert transformation, and introduces the theoretical background and FPGA(Field Programmable Gate Arrays) implementation of the SSB(Single Sideband Modulation) system. The simulation results of the Matlab model demonstrate that 100 order FIR(Finite Impulse Response filter) finite impulse response filter could approximate the ideal Hilbert convertor. The SSB system based on FPGA was simulated by Modelsim. And the simulation got an ideal single-sideband modulation waveform. The entire SSB system only takes up 15% of the FPGA resources,reducing the costs effectively. And the system was used in audio directional loudspeaker practically.

To solve the problem of showing and virtually operating  the assemble and disassemble process of the equipments,a VR(Virtual Reality) training system based on virtual reality technology in which students can assemble or disassemble equipments was designed by a new, simple and quick software solution of “modeling software + programming language”. 3DMAX software are adopted to build the virtual training scenarios and virtual devices modeling, C programming language was used to achieve display the scene and model in real\|time, produce special effects and interactive control function, ultimately complete the virtual device assemble or disassembly process. After the actual use of trainees, it show that the system has the characteristics of good interaction and strong immersion, the process of assemble or disassemble is realistic, efficient and convenient,achieved its purpose of assemble or disassemble equipments training, and it is a preparation and complement to assemble or disassemble actual equipments.

To improve the overall sensory effect of color images.The CES (Color image Enhancement by Scaling) algorithm with blocking is studied and  an improved algorithm that anisotropic diffusion filter ICES (Improved Color image Enhancement by Scaling). Compared with the CES, ICES algorithm without increasing the computational complexity of the premise is propased,which is wore favorable than CES enhancement algorithms, but also greatly inhibit the block effect.

Stick Length Measurement System Based on Freescale Microcontroller

In order to solve the problem of the length measurement in industrial settings ,we designed a system measuring the stick length based on freescale microcontroller. This system used a freescale microcontroller as the key controller. There is a track driven by a DC (Direct Current) motor which is turning with a constant speed. We placed three groups infrared transmitting and receiving devices whose distance was equal on both sides of the track. Place the stick on the track and the internal timer began to  countime when the stick crossed the infrared device. Then we can get the moving time of the stick and obtaining the length of the stick. Finally, we used a 1602 monitor to display the length of the stick. Through the experiment ,the measurement error of this system was less than 0.05%.
