Study on osteocompatibility of titania ceramics

摘要: 目的:观察氧化钛生物陶瓷材料的骨细胞相容性。方法:选用Wistar乳鼠颅顶骨成骨细胞, 将体外原代分离培养成骨细胞接种于材料表面,分别观察7、14、21及28 d时细胞在材料表面的形态变化和增殖情况, 并且对各时期细胞的碱性磷酸酶活性进行检测。结果:各时期材料表面附着的成骨细胞数与对照组间差异无显著性(P>0.05),成骨细胞能正常粘附、伸展、增殖,碱性磷酸酶活性逐渐增加。 结论:氧化钛生物陶瓷材料具有良好的细胞相容性。

Abstract: Objective To evaluate the osteocompatibility of titania ceramics in vitro. Methods Primary osteoblast culture was established from Wistar rat calvaria. Cell adherence and proliferation on titania ceramics for 28 days were examined. Morphological changes of the cells were observed by scanning electron microscopy. The activity of alkaline phosphatase of cells in various phrases were measured. Results The number of osteoblasts attached on the surface of titania ceramics was similar to that in control group. Osteoblasts could attach, spread and proliferate on titania ceramics. The activity of alkaline phosphatase of the cells increased with the culture time. Conclusion Titania ceramics may promote the growth and differentiation of osteoblasts in vitro.
