Absorption of quercetin and rutin across human intestinal epithelial by using Caco-2 cells

摘要: 目的: 探讨药物分子槲皮素、芦丁的小肠吸收情况。方法: 利用Caco-2细胞模型观察药物分子由细胞绒毛面(A面)到基底面(B面)、基底面(B面)到细胞绒毛面(A面)两个方向的转运过程。 结果: 由细胞绒毛面(A面)到基底面(B面)槲皮素的表观渗透系数(Papp)=(5.15±0.65)×10-6cm•s-1 ,芦丁Papp=(0.05±0.01)×10-6cm•s-1,由基底面(B面)到细胞绒毛面(A面)槲皮素及芦丁的Papp分别为(10.54±1.35)×10-6cm•s-1和(0.07±0.01)×10-6cm•s-1 。结论: 槲皮素、芦丁可以通过小肠上皮细胞吸收进入体内,槲皮素较芦丁更易于吸收。

Abstract: To study the absorption of quercetin and rutin in human intestinal epithelial. MethodsBy using Caco-2 cell line as an intestinal epithelial cell model, the transportatrions of quercetin and rutin were studied from apical side to basolateral side or from basolateral side to apical side. ResultsThe apparent permeabilities (Papp) of quercetin and rutin from the apical side to basolateral side were( 5.15±0.65)×10-6cm•s-1 and (0.05±0.01)×10-6cm•s-1, respectively. The Papp of quercetin and rutin from basolateral side to apical side were (10.54±1.35)×10-6cm•s-1 and ( 0.07±0.01)×10-6cm•s-1, respectively. Conclusion Quercetin and rutin can be absorbed across intestinal epithelial cells, moreover qercetin is easier to be absorbed than rutin.
