精铸模具钢热锻模的应用及寿命的提高

Application and Improvement of Service Life of Hotforging

摘要: 为了稳定和提高精铸热锻的使用寿命,研究了其失效形式和机理。研究结果表明:材质及工艺决定了精铸热锻模具呈现不同的失效形式和寿命。不恰当的材质及工艺导致热锻模具出现早期断裂失效,失效形式不合理,寿命较低。经改进材质及工艺后, 热磨损、塑性变形为主要失效形式,而未出现早期断裂失效,寿命得到明显提高,稳定在6000~7000件,高于锻造模具钢80%以上。

Abstract: To improve and stabilize the service life of hotforging die fabricated by cast die steel, the failure modes and mechanism were analyzed. Results show that different failure modes and lives are dependent on the material composition and subsequent processing. Improper material composition and processing can cause earlier fracture failure and short life happened to the hotforging dies. With improvement of material composition and processing, the failure modes demonstrate predominately elevated wear and plastic deformation, and no earlier failure occurred, leading to a considerable improvement of service life and a stable number of 6000~7000 times, 80% more than forging steel dies.
