A Modified CKS-DEA Model with Qualitative Factors Included and Its Application

Abstract: When the CKS-DEA model is applied to practical efficiency evaluations,it often results in such a problem that too many DMUs are unreasonably evaluated as efficient units.To overcome the drawback of the CKS-DEA model,this paper presents a new structure for ranking decision-making units on each qualitative factor.Based on the ranking structure,the paper further presents a modified CKS-DEA model and applies it to a real evaluation problem.The application proves that the modified CKS-DEA model can well overcome the drawback of the original model.
