Collaborative community for CAE analysis and consultation

Abstract: The system architecture and the implemental technique of distributed collaborative community for CAE analysis and consultation were studied. A virtual engineering community system based on distributed agents and services was built through the researching of some key technologies, such as communicate service, security service, messaging service, resource share, multimedia data conference, collaborative control and application integration,etc. under the peertopeer network environment. It provided a work mode of multimedia groupware for some CAE softwares such as KMAS for the singleuser and standalone environment, to support the distributed collaborative analysis and consultation and to share and reuse the design resources. The system security, reliability, availability and extensibility were verified.
