Analysis of impact of vehicle to simply supported beam bridge based on vehicle-bridge coupled vibration

Abstract:

A three-dimensional vehicle-bridge coupled vibration model was established based on the model synthesis method to analyze the impact of vehicle to the simply supported beam bridge accurately. Using the concept of dynamic magnification factor, the impacts of the vehicle parameters, the bridge deck smoothness, the vehicle speed, and the vehicle to bridge relative position were obtained from the dynamic response results of the established model. The results provide a theoretical basis for improving the impact coefficient calculation method of the simply supported beam bridge in the bridge design code of China.
