Step-by-Step Regression Used in Traffic Flow Prediction of Non-Detector Road Intersections

Abstract: Based on interrelationship between traffic flows of intersections,step by step regression is used to predict traffic flow of non-detector intersections and results are verified by traffic flow data of Changchun City road network.The method can be widely used in urban traffic flow guidance in cities without enough intersections equipped with detectors,providing theoretical basis for macroscopic management of road intersections.
