Microscopic Analysis of the Close-die Cold Forging of Starlike Inner Race

Abstract: The experimental studies on the closed die cold forging of the starlike inner race are carried out,the reasons why the residual stress distributed nonuniformly are analyzed and the methods to improve the cold forging die are suggested.Meanwhile the changes of the structure and hardness of material are analyzed,the distribution of the density of dislocation is studied and the microscopic reasons of material hardening are explained based on the theories of dislocation.
