Numerical simulation on ground effect of simplified car model

Abstract: Ground effect was studied with numerical simulation of the motive ground boundary condition.The aerodynamic coefficients were obtained.Its aerodynamic data was compared with the one of fixed boundary condition.And the results can be in accord with the wind tunnel test.With this simulation,the influence of fixed wall boundary layer on underbody was eliminated by and large.The precision of numerical simulation for ground effect was improved.
