Parameter-self-adjusted fuzzy control method applied to semi-active air spring suspension of vehicle

Abstract: A parameter self adjusted fuzzy control method was applied to semi active air spring suspension of vehicle. A quarter car model and its parameter self adjusted fuzzy controller were built, and computer simulations were carried out with analogous Grade B road as input and ride comfort as evaluation criterion. The results show that the road comfort is improved by the use of the fuzzy controller and the suspension performs robustly at transient driving conditions.
