Reliability analysis of spindle system base on location-scale model

Abstract: In order to assess the customer satisfaction index—MTTFF (Mean Time To First Failure) of spindle system, a regularly censored field test with 24 sets of spindle systems was performed. According to the characteristics of the small sample and some spindle system with non-failure data, a location-scale model was introduced to estimate the parameters of Weibull distribution, and the Weibull distribution hypothesis was validated by d test and run test. Finally, MTTFF of the spindle system was obtained by using the parameters according to the Weibull model.
