Design and experiment of handling mechanism for tractors

Abstract: In order to develop the mechanization level of agricultural heavy material handling, A hydraulic handling mechanism with three degrees of freedom which had one more degree of freedom than conventional mechanisms was developed for tractors, and a control system which contained some computer controlled electromagnetic proportional directional flow control valves was built. The motion of the mechanism was analyzed, and an experiment was conducted to research the drive performance of the hydraulic part and the trajectory tracking performance of the pivot of the bucket part of the mechanism. A linear model of the relationship between the input voltage of the electromagnetic proportional directional flow control valves and the speed of the hydraulic cylinders was built, and the result showed that the control system could achieve satisfactory tracking performance.
