Efficient approach for modal sensitivity analysis for near defective systems

Abstract:

For solving the sensitivity analysis of vibration systems, a rapid calculation of state vector sensitivity analysis derivatives was established. Based on the generalized modal theory, the sensitivity analysis of near defective systems could be transformed into one of the defective systems. A relaxation factor embedded in the combined approximations approach ensures the non-singularity of coefficient matrix. Moreover, the theory and method of near defective systems sensitivity analysis was given. The numerical example indicates the effectiveness of the algorithm.
