Improvement of public transportation assignment Logit model during peak period

Abstract: An improved public transportation assignment Logit model during peak period is proposed. First, the station arrest coefficient is defined and calculated. According to the transit stations with and without nonstop line and the crowding level, the stations are classified into three categories. The Logit model is improved from the aspects of the time function, sanction function and departure interval. Then, using a practical case, the influences of the parameters α and Tf in the model on the transit assignment are analyzed, and α and Tf are calibrated. Finally, error analysis of the transit assignment results is carried out, which validates the model.
