Model calculation and analysis of operation condition of heat pump using earth energy system for years

Abstract: A model calculation method of heat pump using earth energy system is proposed. Testing of an actual operation condition of ground-source heat pump in severe cold area has proven the reliability of the calculation method. This method was used to forecast the operation process and energy consumption of the project for years. Calculation results show that without other supplementary heating modes or measures, the system can not ensure the normal operation for years. By analysis and calculation of the controllable factors, a scheme to improve the operation condition is proposed, which can ensure the sustainable use of the earth energy technology.
