DAI Qun, LIU Suli, LI Huilai
Journal of Jilin University Science Edition. 2015, 53 (01):  1-4.
Abstract ( 251 )   PDF (277KB) ( 396 )

We used the fixed point theorem of cone expansion and cone compression to study the eigenvalue problem of nonlinear fractional differential equation so as to obtain the existence of positive solutions. The results show that for a type of αorder fractional differential equation eigenvalue problem (3<α≤4), the differential equation has at least one positive solution when eigenvalue parameter belongs to an open interval.

Abstract ( 149 )   PDF (482KB) ( 287 )

A numerical method was proposed for time harmonic scattering of an open cavity. The computational domain was partitioned firstly. Then on subdomains FourierBessel functions and plane wave functions were used to approximate the local properties of the solution, and scattered field toward infinite was approximated by a multipole expansion. Then the continuity across the inner interfaces between elements was enforced by the least squares scheme. Finally, the effectiveness of the approach was demonstrated by numerical example.

Abstract ( 297 )   PDF (263KB) ( 324 )

The authors  mainly studied the observability of  autonomous discrete control systems and  nonautonomous discrete control systems using
Brouwer’s fixed point theorem. We found that if  the nonlinear part f  is continuous in x and bounded and moreover r(M)=n, then the autonomous discrete control system is locally observable. If there exists positive integer N, such that matrix M has column full rank, and f(i,x(i)) is continuous

Facial Expression Synthesis Based on Curve Representation
LIU Hong, ZHANG Shugong
Journal of Jilin University Science Edition. 2015, 53 (01):  80-88.
Abstract ( 156 )   PDF (2428KB) ( 274 )

We proposed a new method to synthesize facial expression. First, we represented face binary edge map with curve segment group. The differences of local texture beside the curve segments were measured, which are considered as the features of the images. Then we measured the deformation of curve segments and the change of the features when the samples in the face database had some kind of expression change, and learned the pattern behind it. Even when we only have the neutral expression sample,  following the pattern, we can still synthesize the curve segments and features of the sample for a certain type of expression change. Through this method, the sample space can be effectively extended, and a better performance is given by the recognition algorithm  when it faces the challenge of multiple expression change.

Journal of Jilin University Science Edition. 2015, 53 (01):  89-94.
Abstract ( 291 )   PDF (2980KB) ( 234 )

Aiming at the describing the problem of lip reading status, the authors presented a method to classify lip shapes based on Fourier descriptor. Localization of the lip region can be found by an iterative calculation method. Firstly, Canny’s edge detection method was used in order to define the lip contour. Then, in order to find the best parameters of lip’s shape, a Fourier descriptor was used. Important parameters allowing us to express the useful information of lip’s shape status were then extracted. Finally, the different parameters characterizing the input lip were classified into lip categories. The experimental results show that this method has a higher accuracy of lip’s classification, consumes less time, and provides a clear basis for each status during lip recognition.

Abstract ( 330 )   PDF (475KB) ( 294 )

A fuzzy calculation method of KQI and KPI indexes based on user perception and present network feedback was given with the aim at the defects on current optimization problem of WCDMA network and existing business quality evaluation system. This method makes a new business classification to the
network application layer, and it makes each original independent evaluation index form an interactive coupling relationship by establishing mapping relation between different business KQI and KPI indexes. Thus an index of fuzzy calculation can objectively diagnose and evaluate the whole quality evaluation system. Calculated result and practical use indicate that this method has a preferable universality to the evaluation object, and it can fully improve the quality condition of present network data business with the equipment optimization, and optimize quality evaluation methods of existing WCDMA data service.

Journal of Jilin University Science Edition. 2015, 53 (01):  117-120.
Abstract ( 264 )   PDF (514KB) ( 344 )

First, we prepared two fivelevel Λtype atoms in ground states |g1〉and |g1〉.Next we let them pass through this doublemode (a mode and b mode) optical cavity. And amode couples with the transition |g〉→|e〉, bmode couples with the transition |e〉→|f〉, with the coupling strength ga and gb respectively. We coded the information on the polarized photon states to measure the cavity polarization states after the atoms passed through the cavity. The C-NOT gate is realized by controlling the interaction time of atoms and intracavity fields. High fidelity and low photon loss can be realized by selecting reasonable parameters. The numerical results show that to realize CNOT gate, the cavity with a strong coupling and little decay is necessary. When we set singlephoton detuning Δ=0.5g, and g/k is from 2 to 10, the fidelity can be keeping over 99%.

WANG Zuocheng, TONG Hua, WANG Liping, ZHAO Yanhui, YU Tianrong, MEI Zemin
Journal of Jilin University Science Edition. 2015, 53 (01):  134-141.
Abstract ( 196 )   PDF (2702KB) ( 235 )

Based on density functional theory, the α-alanine molecule chiral transition mechanism in water was investigated. Having found the structures of heterogeneous transition states and intermediates at peak energy values of α-alanine in water, we drew up the potential energy surface of chiral hydrogen transfer isomerization processes α-alanine molecule in water. Compared with the isolated chiral transition, those with single or two water molecules as hydrogen transfer bridges made the transfer process energy barrier for H from chiral C to carbonyl O reduced from 325.5 kJ/mol to 200.6,173.0 kJ/mol respectively, and the energy barrier for H from carbonyl O to the other side of chiral C reduced from 229.2 kJ/mol to 105.3,73.5 kJ/mol respectively. The results reveal water molecules catalyze the chiral enantiomer transformation process of α-alanine, illustrating a possible source of a very small amount of D-alanine in vivo, which is due to water participiting in L-alanine chiral transition.

Taking Caenorhabditis elegans worm as a model organism, we examined the effects of L-carnitine, trimetazidine, compound L-carnitine on the lifespan and reproductivity of the worms. Our results show that w(L-carnitine)=01%, w(trimetazidine)=0000 5% and compound L-carnitine did not change the lifespan of C. elegans.
