PTGS2/PLA2G4A基因多态性与精神分裂症的关系

Association between PTGS2/PLA2G4A genepolymorphism and schizophrenia

摘要: 目的:在中国北方汉族人群中探讨PTGS2/PLA2G4A基因多态性与精神分裂症的关系。方法:采用PCR技术和限制性内切酶片段长度多态性(RFLP)的方法,检测中国北方汉族168个核心家系的基因型。 结果:PTGS2基因的两个SNPs(SNP1和SNP2)与PLA2G4A基因的一个SNP(SNP3)的等位基因和基因型在病例组和对照组的频数分布差异无显著性(P>0.05)。 结论:在中国北方汉族人群中PTGS2/PLA2G4A基因多态性与精神分裂症的发病可能无关。

Abstract: Objective To investigate the genetic association between the PTGS2/PLA2G4A gene polymorphism and schizophrenia in the Han descent population in the North of China. Methods A PCR-based RFLP procedure was employed to detect the genotypes of 168 family trios of Han descent population in the North of China. Results No significant differences were found in the frequencies of allele and genotype of the two SNPs (SNP1 and SNP2) of PTGS2 gene and one SNP(SNP3) of PLA2G4A gene between the case and the control(P>0.05). Conclusion There is no genetic association between the PTGS2/PLA2G4A gene polymorphism and schizophrenia in the Han descent population in the North of China.
