Space occupancy estimating method based on remote sensing images

Abstract: A space occupancy estimating method based on remote sensing images is proposed.First,Hough transform is used to estimate the length of the road.Then, fuzzy processing technique is applied to estimate the length of vehicles.Finally, the vehicle space occupancy is estimated.Simulation experiments are carried out using OpenCV under VC+ +6.0 environment. Simulation Results show that the proposed method can accurately estimate the vehicle space occupancy on the road.
