Throughput expanding WLAN based blind beam forming and nulling algorithm

Abstract: With the continuous development of mobile terminals and business, in enterprise WLAN, user demand for throughput is gradually increasing. The traditional way of AP deployment and channel competition protocol can not satisfy the increasing communication demand. Therefore, many new methods have been put forward, such as interference alignment and combined beam forming. However, the use of these methods has certain limits and it is difficult to achieve good effect in actual use. This paper proposes a blind beam forming and nulling algorithm. This algorithm allows multiple terminals to transmit at the same time slot, on the premise of effectively improving the channel utilization rate, and better solving the problem of the interference of communication. Experimental results show that, compared with the traditional way of channel competition protocol and AP deployment, the proposed algorithm can effectively reduce the cost and improve the throughput of the terminal.
