Modal optimal control of intelligent inner noise control system

Abstract: Modal optimal control of intelligent inner noise control was studied. Modal controller design method was given based on the modal optimal control equation. A rectangular box structure consisting of beams and laminate shell was presented to illuminate the effect of control. The noise pressure responses of the uncontrolled and controlled systems were obtained. The numerical results show that the inner noise can be reduced from 94.32 dB of the uncontrolled system to 87.27 dB by using the present intelligent control method.
