Matching and optimization |of heavy commercial vehicle cab air suspension system

Abstract:

A rigid multibody dynamic model was built for the heavy commercial vehicle cab air suspension system using the virtual prototype technique. The model was verified by the vehicle road test, and used to analyze the modal characteristics and the ride comfort of the vehicle. Taking the stiffness and the damp of the cab suspension components as test factors, the parameters of the cab suspension system were matched and optimized by means of the orthogonal test design technique. The simulation results indicate that the ride comfort in the cab can be improved by optimization of the cab suspension system parameters.
