Interval control method on consistency of suspension kinematics

Abstract:

Aiming at the fact that there was no method to guarantee the consistency of the vehicle suspension kinematics by control on the tolerances of suspension structure parameters, a model was built for the uncertain structure parameters to establish the consistency of the suspension kinematics by the interval control method. Taking the parameter tolerances of the suspension structure as the uncertain parameters on the interval parameters, the consistency of the exteral characteristic was controlled by the proposed method. As an example, the consistency of a wishbone independent front suspension was controlled using this method, proving the effectiveness of the proposed method.
