Design and target decomposition of impact pulse of car frontal crashworthiness

Abstract: In order to control and optimize the frontal crashworthiness of the passenger car in the conceptual design phase, taking a B-class car as an example, a method of setting the important parameters G1 and G2 for the target simplified 2-step impact pulse in the conceptual design phase was proposed. The sub-structure performance targets were decomposed effectively under the overall goal condition based on the energy management technique, providing a sufficient basis for further structure sections design and overall goal achievement.
