Parameters identification for simplified model of commercial vehicles

Abstract:

In order to accurately characterize the dynamic performance of vehicles, a simplified model of commercial vehicles is established and the key parameters of this model are identified by means of the combination of least square algorithm and genetic algorithm and using Trucksim data. Simulation of the dynamic working condition of the model is carried out using the MAP of the identified key parameters. The simulation result is compared with the Trucksim data, which indicates that the MAP of the identified key parameters can satisfy the need to characterize the actual state of vehicle using the simplified model and lays a foundation for vehicle stability control.
