Iterative decoding of space frequency block code OFDM systems

Abstract

Abstract: A simple decoding algorithm for SFBCOFDM system was proposed on the basis of channel correlation in OFDM systems. The proposed algorithm only needs a few pilots to estimate channel and decode, and it requires no channel estimation when QPSK modulation was used. The simulation results demonstrate that the presented algorithm is similar to differential detection scheme, and has only 3 dB penalty when compared with coherent detection method, however, the diversity gain can be obtained and computation complexity is obviously reduced.
