Acquisition of travel time based on inductive coil detector and probe vehicle

Abstract:

Based on the lucubration of info demand in the Urban Traffic Flow Guidance Systems, A new technology applicated to the acquisition of travel time was presented. Firstly, calculates the mean travel time by means of inductive coil detection and probe vehicle respectively. Then carry out the shortperiod peidiction thanks to the Adaptive Weight Exponential  Smoothing Ultimately empolders a frequent fusion arithmetic of travel time under a series of reliability degrees based on both inductive coil detection and probe vehicle. The experimental results confirm the performance of the technology as it can offer the travel time exactly and efficiently used as the input datas of he Urban Traffic Flow Guidance Systems to satisfy the info demand of travellers.
