Abstract:

Abstract:Objective To analyze the relationship between the expression of filamin A(FLNa) in breast cancer tissues  and clinical characteristics and pathological features and to explore the relationship between FLNa and the indexes of prognosis and the feasibility of FLNa as the evalution index of prognosis of breast cancer. Methods  The expressions  of  FLNa in 96 specimens of breast cancer tissues were detected using immunohistochemistry technique. The correlation between FLNa expression and the clinicopathological features was analyzed. Results The positive rate of FLNa in breast cancer tissues was 63.54% .The expression level of FLNa was correlated with the TNM staging, lymph node metastasis, vascular or neural invasion, menstruation state, risk stratification(P<0.05);but not correlated with the patients’ age, tumor size, lesion site, pathological classification, histological type,ER,PR and CerbB-2(P>0.05).Conclusion The expression of FLNa has a high correlation with the evalution index of prognosis of  breast cancer. It indicates that FLNa may become an index for judgement of prognosis of breast cancer.
