xpressions of autoimmune regulator in mesenteric lymph nodes and peripheral lymph nodes in mice and their significances

Abstract:Objective
To detect the expressions of autoimmune regulator (Aire) in mesenteric lymph nodes (MLNs) and peripheral lymph nodes (PLNs),explore the functions  of Aire  in peripheral immune tolerance,and clarify the  action mechanism  of Aire expressed in lymphy nodes  in the maintenance of tolerance and the prevention of autoimmune disease in mice. Methods The expressions of Aire  mRNA and protein  in MLNs and PLNs from BALB/c mice were assessed by RT-PCR and Western blotting. The expressions of Aire  mRNA  in stromal and non-stromal fractions of the lymph nodes were detected by RT-PCR. The expressions of Aire  mRNA  in stromal    cells of the lymph nodes were determined by RT-PCR,the expression of Aire  protein  in stromal cells of the lympy nodes was detected with immunohistochemistry. Results The expressions of Aire  mRNA and protein  were found in MLNs and PLNs,the expression levels had no significant difference between groups(P>0.05). The  Aire mRNA expressed in both the stromal and non-stromal fractions,the expression of Aire in non-stromal fractions was higher than that in stromal fractions (P<0.05). The epithelial cells(EPIs) and fibroblastic reticular cells(FRCs) were isolated and cultured successfully,the positive rate was 70%. The Aire mRNA and protein expressed in both EPIs and FRCs,and the expressions of Aire mRNA and protein  in  EPIs was higher that those in  FRCs.Conclusion Aire can express in MLNs and PLNs of mice,as well as the stromal cells,which indicates that Aire may participate  to maintain peripheral immune tolerance through several mechanisms.

Effects of magnetic c-erbB2 antisense probe on morphology and expression of SK-Br-3 cancer cell lines in vitro

Abstract:Objective
To observe the effects of the magnetic c-erbB2 antisense oligodeoxynucleotide probe on morphology and expression of SK-Br-3 cancer cells in vitro,and to discuss whether the probe has the functions of diagnosis and treatment. Methods SK-Br-3 cancer cells were transfected by magnetic c-erbB2 antisense probe as experiment group,Fuda tumor cells were transfected by magnetic c-erbB2 antisense probe,SK-Br-3 cancer cells were transfected by SPIO and ASODN,untransfected SK-Br-3 cancer cells as 4 control groups. The  iron distribution in the transfected cancer cells was observed by Prussian blue staining,the ultrastructure was observed by transmission electron microscope,the  protein expression of cerbB2 and the  iron content were detected and MR imaging was performed. Results The iron particles scattered in the cytoplasm of transfected SK-Br-3 cancer cells under light microscope.The iron particles,groups-like pinocytosis, cell membrane vacuolization,cell shrinkage,nuclear condensation,and apoptotic bodies were found under transmission electron microscope,but the cells in control groups had no the changes mentioned above.Compared with control groups,the inhibitory rate of protein expression of SK-Br-3 cells was significantly increased,the iron content of cells was increased(P<0.05),the signal   in MR imaging was decreased. Conclusion Magnetic c-erbB2 antisense probe can smoothly go into the SK-Br-3 cancer cells,it not only results in SK-Br-3 cell apoptosis but also can be found by MR imaging,it may become a bifunctional probe with significance in treatment and diagnosis.

Construction and identification of lentiviral vector of RNA interference of PAK4 gene

To construct a lentiviral vector of RNA interference (RNAi) of PAK4 gene and to study the interference  efficiency of  PAK4 shRNA in SACC-83 cells in vivo.Methods  The complementary oligo DNA was designed according to the effective sequence of siRNA targeting PAK4 gene and then synthesized and cloned into the pGCSIL-GFP vector.The obtained lentiviral vector containing PAK4i shRNA was named as shPAK4i-LV,and it was confirmed by PCR and sequencing.The HEK-293T cells were cotransfected with lentiviral vector shPAK4i-LV,pHelper1.0 and pHelper2.0.All virus stocks were produced by LipofectamineTM 2000 transfection.The titer of virus was tested according to the expression level of GFP.Results  PCR and DNA sequencing demonstrated that the lentiviral vector shPAK4i-LV of PAK4 shRNA was constructed successfully.The titer of concentrated virus was 2E+9TU•mL-1.The SACC-83 cell line was infected with shPAK4i-LV and the expression of PAK4 gene was inhibited about 70% which was confirmed by real-time PCR.Conclusion The shPAK4i-LV is constructed successfully and SACC-83-shPAK4i transient transfection cell model is established.It provides the basis for research on PAK4 signal transduction pathway in tumor.

Protective effect of zinc preconditioning on renal ischemia-reperfusion injury in mice

Abstract:Objective To discuss the preventive effect of zinc preconditioning on renal ischemia-reperfusion injury (RIRI) in mice and provide experimental basis for prevention and treatment of RIRI  in clinic. Methods 50 male mice were randomly divided into 5 groups: sham operation group,RIRI model group,high dose zinc treatment group (60  mg•kg-1),middle dose zinc treatment group (30  mg•kg-1) and low dose zinc treatment group (15  mg•kg-1),10 mice in each group. The mice in zinc treatment groups were administrated with ZnSO4 solution daily by gastric gavage for two weeks,while the equal volume normal saline was given to the mice in model group and sham operation group. Then the RIRI  model was prepared. After 30 min ischemia and 24 h reperfusion,the pathologic changes in kidney tissue of mice were observed by the method of HE staining;the apoptotic cells and the expression of c-fos were detected by TUNEL staining and immunohistochemistry,respectively. Results The pathohistological results showed the pathological changes in kidneys of mice in model group,such as tubular dilation with cast formation,vacuolization and necrosis of renal tubular epithelial cells in renal cortex,the more serious changes occurring in the location between cortex and medulla with severe blood congestion and necrosis region. The mice in high dose zinc treatment group appeared the above pathological changes. In middle dose and low dose zinc treatment group,the abov changes were improved,which were swelling of renal tubular epithelial cell,less congestion and cell necrosis in the location between cortex and medulla. The pathological  improvement in low dose zinc treatment group was better than that in middle dose zinc treatment. TUNEL staining showed that the number of apoptotic cells in model group was significantly higher than those in middle and low dose zinc treatment group(P<0.05),and the number of apoptotic cells in low dose zinc treatment group was significantly lower than that in middle dose zinc treatment group(P<0.05). The immunohistochemical results showed that compared with sham operation group,the c-Fos-positive cell rates in model group and zinc treatment groups were significantly increased (P<0.01);compared with model group, the c-Fos-positive cellrate in middle and low dose zinc treatment groups were significantly decreased (P<0.05);the c-Fos-positive cell rate in low dose zinc treatment group was significantly lower than that in middle dose treatment group (P<0.05). Conclusion Zinc sulfate has a protective effect on RIRI  in a certain dosage range and the possible mechanism may be associated with the decreasing of apoptotic cells and  c-Fos expression induced by zinc.

Comparison of HCV replication levels in different three-dimensional culture systems

Abstract:Objective To compare the replication efficiency of HCV in different three-dimensional(3-D) culture systems for a better choice of HCV culture system in vitro. Methods The human immortalized hepatocytes HuS-E/2 cells were cultivated in hollow fiber,mebiol gel and hydrocell plate. The cells were incubated with the medium containing genotype 2a HCV JFH1 for infection. The cell proliferation was monitored with XTT assay. HCV amplification in 3-D cultured cells was measured with real time PCR. Results The cell proliferation were continuously increased in hollow fiber system and mebiol gel system. The cell number was 2-3 times increased at the end of culture.  After genotype 2a HCV-JFH1 infection,the titers of HCV were 2.95×103 copies/1 μg total RNA,2×103 copies/1 μg total RNA,and 1.18×103 copies/1 μg total RNA in mebiol gel,hollow fiber and hydrocell plate respectively. Conclusion Compared with  hollow fiber culture system and hydrocell plate culture system,the cell proliferation is stable and the HCV replication is more efficient in the 3-D culture system for HCV based on mebiol gel system.

Protective effects of garlic polysaccharide on liver injury in mice with chronic alcoholism

Abstract:Objective To study the interference effect of garlic polysaccharide on alcoholic liver injury in mice  and clarify its protective effects and mechanism,and to  provide experimental basis for developing natural antioxidant medicine for prevention and treatment of alcoholic liver  disease liver .   Methods 70  Kunming mice were randomly divided into normal group,control group,model group,garlic polysaccharide low,medium and high-dose (100,150,and 200  mg•kg-1•d-1)groups, fourteen mice in each group.Dose increasing method was used to set mouse chronic alcoholism models with 56°wine,meanwhile,the experiment was intervened with garlic polysaccharide. Eight weeks later,the weight,liver weight index,the levels of hepatic(MDA) and glutathione(GSH) and the activities of serum alanine aminotransferase(ALT),aspartate aminotransferase(AST),sodium potassium pump (Na+-K+-ATP),glutathione peroxidase(GSH-Px),superoxide dismutase (SOD) were measured,and the morphological changes of liver tissue in mice were observed with light microscope.  Results Compared  with control group,the weights of the mice in  model group were markedly decreased (P<0.05),while the liver weight index,ALT and AST levels in serum,and MDA content in liver were all significantly increased (P<0.05);the activities of  Na+-K+-ATP,GSH-Px and SOD and GSH level were evidently decreased (P<0.05). In addition,the pathological changes in liver appeared  fat vacuole,inflammatory cell infiltrate,etc. Compared with model group,in  garlic polysaccharide  groups,the liver weight indexes of mice and the levels of serum ALT and AST were significantly decreased (P<0.05),while the levels  of GSH were increased and the activities of GSH-Px and SOD were greatly increased (P<0.05);in medium and high dose groups,the weights and the activities of Na+-K+-ATP were significantly increased (P<0.05),while the levels of MDA were obviously decreased (P<0.05) and the degree of pathological changes in liver  tissue was reduced. Conclusion Unremitting superfluous drinking can lead mice to alcoholism,and cause serious damage to their livers. Garlic polysaccharide has certain protective effects on liver injury induced by alcohol in mice. The mechanism is relevant to its increasing anti-oxygen capacity of the organism.

Abstract:Objective To evaluate the safety of a polyoxometalates NCW-6 and clarify  the toxicity and  potential hazard of NCW-6. Methods Orally acute toxicity test and teratogenic sensitivity test of NCW-6 were performed according to the pre-clinical toxicological evaluation for new drugs. In acute toxicity test, the healthy Kunming mice were randomly divided into 7 groups(n=10)   with half of male and female,the maximum dose was 6 000.00 mg•kg-1 and the minimum dose was 4 000.00 mg•kg-1 with 400.00 mg•kg-1 class interval. The  representation of mice was observed 14 d after administered by oral gavage once and  the death number was recorded and the  LD50 was calculated.In teratogenic sensitivity test, the pregnant rats were ramdomly divided into 5 groups and there were  20 rats in each group at least.The NCW-6 doses  were  91.7,366.8 and 1 467.5  mg•kg-1 in  three treatment groups.5 mL•kg-1 distilled water was administered in negative control group,continuously by oral gavage 5-16 d after  pregnantcy,once a day;  130  mg•kg-1 retinoic acid was administered  by oral gavage on the 10th day after pregnancy.The pregnant rats were killed by cervical dislocation on the 20th day, the number of corpus luteum,implantation,live fetuses,resorption fetuses and dead fetuses  were recorded.The  weight,body length,tail length and appearence of fetal rats were observed.The osteological features examination and organ features examination were performed in fetal rats with half of male and female.Results In acute toxicity test,the LD50 of NCW-6 was 5 869.9 mg•kg-1. The results of teratogenic sensitivity test showed that the body weight and weight gain of pregnant rats in three treatment groups had no significant differences compared with negative control group (P> 0.05);the average fetal weight,body length,tail length and the average birth weight,litter weight of fetal rats in  treatment groups had no significant differences compared with negative control group (P> 0.05);and the appearance,visceral deformity rate and bone malformation rate of fetal rats in treatment groups had no significant differences compared with negative control group(P> 0.05). Conclusion NCW-6 has no toxicity and no teratogenic effects on rats,which deserves further research.

Abstract:Objective To discuss the feasibility of the fabrication of co-polymer poly (lactic-co-glycolic acid) (PLGA) 80∶20 tubular urethral scaffold by electrospinning and evaluate its mechanical properties. Methods PLGA(80∶20) was dissolved in chloroform to form solutions with concentrations varying from 3% to 6%.The electrospinning technique was used to fabricate the tubular urethral scaffolds.The morphology was investigated by scanning electron microscope. Fiber diameters,aperture,porosity and mechanical properties were compared between various concentrations of PLGA. Results PLGA urethral stents with concentrations of 3%,4% and 5%  were successfully fabricated,and the concentration of 6% failed for high concentration. The scaffold was 4 cm long and with an inner diameter of 3.0 mm and an outside diameter of 4.0 mm. The fiber diameter was thicken with the increasing of the concentrations,the difference was significant between various groups(P<0.05). The average pore sizes of three concentrations of PLGA were (7±4),(13±7) and (32±13) μm,respectively,there were significant differences between various groups(P<0.05). The porosity of 3% PLGA was close to 79%,and 5% PLGA was up to 90%,there was significant difference between two groups (P<0.05). The mean stress at break of the three concentrations of PLGA was (2.37±0.15),(1.97±0.0) and (1.85±0.11)Mpa,respectively,the mean stress at break of 3% PLGA was significantly higher than those of the concentrations of 4% and 5%(P<0.05),while no difference was observed between 4% PLGA and 5% PLGA (P> 0.05). Conclusion The properties of 5% PLGA (80∶20) urethral scaffold which fabricated by electrospinning technique can fully satisfied the demand for structure and mechanical properties of a degradable urethral scaffold.

Abstract:Objective
To explore the effects of double interfering vector pGenesil-2.1-PTTG-survivin siRNA  on PTTG and survivin gene expressions in human U251 glioma cell line. Methods U251 cells  were divided in to five groups: normal control,negative control (Lipo2000+ pGenesil-2.1 HK),Lipo2000+pGenesil-2.1-PTTG siRNA,Lipo2000+ pGenesil-2.1- survivin siRNA and Lipo2000+pGenesil-2.1-PTTG-survivin siRNA groups.The  PTTG and survivin protein and mRNA levels in every group were measured with flow cytometry,Western blotting and RT-PCR method after U251 cells were transfected with these plasmids. Results The  PTTG and survivin protein and mRNA levels in Lipo2000+pGenesil-2.1 PTTG siRNA,Lipo2000+ pGenesil-2.1 survivin siRNA and Lipo2000+pGenesil-2.1-PTTG-survivin siRNA groups were decreased significantly compared with negative control group(P<0.01),especially in pGenesil-2.1-PTTG-survivin siRNA group. Conclusion The silence effects of   double interfering vector pGenesil-2.1-PTTG-survivin siRNA on PTTG and survivin gene in U251 cells are stronger than those of  pGenesil-2.1-PTTG siRNA or pGenesil-2.1- survivin siRNA.

Abstract:Objective
To investigate the influence of low-dose dexmethasone (Dex)on spatial memory in temporal lobe epileptic male rats,and lay theoretical  foundation for the application of glucocorticoid related medicine in refractory temporal lobe epilepsy. Methods Wistar rats were randomly divided into Sham group,control group kindled with temporal lobe epilepsy after pretreated with normal saline (NS-control group) and observation group kindled with temporal lobe epilepsy pretreated with low-dose Dex (Dex group). The temporal lobe epileptic model was established through  microinjecting kainic acid (KA) into right nucleus amygdalae of Wistar male rats. Morris water maze observation was performed on the 5th,11st,17th,and 21st days after KA kindling or sham operation,respectively. Results The average escape latency in Sham group was delayed compared with  Dex group or NS-control group (P<0.05),the swimming initial angles in Dex group or NS-control group were enlarged compared with  Sham group (P<0.05). Compared with NS-control group and Sham group,the percentage of swimming center in Dex group was increased(P<0.05)and the length of swimming path was decreased(P<0.05). Conclusion Low-dose Dex may have protective effect on spatial memory in temporal lobe epileptic male rats.

Expression of FGF-1 gene in breast cancer cells MCF-7 |mediated by lentiviral vector  and its significance

Abstract:Objective To study the expression of acidic fibroblast growth factor(FGF-1) in MCF-7 cells mediated by lentivirus system,and obtain a primarily stable cell line highly expressing FGF-1 and  to lay foundation for further exploring the role of FGF-1 in the tumorigenesis and development of breast cancer. Methods The lentivirus-expressing plasmid pWPXLd-FGF-1 was constructed and cotransfected into 293FT cells with lentiviral vector psPAX2,pMD2.G and pWPXLd-FGF-1. The lentivirus were collected and infected MCF-7 cells,the expression of FGF-1 was tested by flow cytometry and Western blotting. The capabilities of proliferation and migration of MCF-7 cells transfected with FGF-1 were also examined by wound healing test.  Results The pWPXLd-FGF-1 plasmid was successfully constructed. The lentivirus was obtained and the titer of lentivirus reached to 2.8×106 T U•mL-1. In addition,a cell line  highly expressing FGF-1 was obtained,its transfection efficiency was more than 60%,which promoted the  proliferation and migration of MCF-7 cells.  Conclusion A lentivirus vector of FGF-1 is sucessfully constructed,and it can higly  express in MCF-7 cells.

Abstract:Objective To explore the mechanism of 3-methyladenine (3-MA)in promoting the sensitivity of chemotherapeutics in oral squamous cell carcinoma by observing the kill effect of cisplatin (DDP)on oral squamous cell carcinoma Tca83 cell line.Methods The Tca83 cells at logarithmic growth phase were divided into  control group,3-MA group,DDP group,3-MA+DDP group and DDP+3-MA group . The survival rate of Tca83 cells  was examined by tetrazolium bromide(MTT)colorimetry; the LC3-Ⅱ expression level was detected by laser scanning confocal microscope;the apoptotic rate was detemined by flow cytometry. Results The IC50 of the Tca83 cells was 5 mg.L-1 after treated with DDP;the MTT results showed that the cell survival rate in  DDP group was significantly lower than those in  control group and 3-MA + DDP group (P<0.05),and  higher than that in  DDP +3- MA group (P<0.0
5);the immunofluorescence results showed that the average fluorescence intensity in 3-MA group was significantly lower than those in  the other four groups (P<0.05 );the flow cytometry results showed that the  apoptotic rate  in DDP group was significantly lower than that in  3-MA + DDP group(P<0.05),and higher than that in DDP +3-MA group (P<0.05).Conclusion The autophagy at different levels has different roles in oral squamous cell carcinoma.The inhibition of basic level autophagy of  the Tca83 cells can enhance the cytotoxicity  of DDP. It indicates that the autophagy inhibitor has significant potential to be a novel chemotherapeutic enhancer for oral squamous cell carcinoma therapy.

Abstract:Objective To detect the expression of activin receptorⅡA(ActRⅡA)in atherosclerosis(AS) plaque tissue and investigate the association between ActRⅡA and effect of statins, and to clarify the  anti-inflammatory mechanisms and potential signal transduction pathway of statins.Methods 24 apoE-/- mices were randomly divided into control group,high fat diet group,high fat diet plus atorvas
tatin  group,and they were separately given normal mouse forage,high fat diet,high fat diet plus atorvastatin.After 8 weeks,the serum triglyceride(TG) and total cholesterol(TC) were detected,the pathological changes of the aortic arch were observed by HE staining and the expression of ActRⅡA in atherosclerotic plaques was determined by immunohistochemical method.Results ①The serum TG and TC and the expression of ActRⅡA of mice in high fat diet group  and high fat diet plus atorvastatin group  were higher than those in control group(P<0.05),and they were decreased in high fat diet plus atorvastatin group compated with high fat diet group(P<0.05).
②Compared with control group,the HE staining results  showed obvious atherosclerotic plaques in aortic arch in high tat diet  group
 and high fat diet plus atorvastatin group,but atherosclerotic plaque in high fat diet plus atorvastatin group  had the thicken intima,rare foam cells and thicker fiber cap,the plaques were more stable. ③The immunohistochemical assay showed little expression of ActRⅡA in control group,whereas ActRⅡA had obviously positive expressions in the other two groups.The expression of ActRⅡA in high fat diet plus atorvastatin group  was lower than that in high fat diet group.Conclusion The expression of ActRⅡA could be detected in the pla

Objective To study the anticoagulant activities of polysaccharide and its sulfated polysaccharide from corn-cob and mechanism,and lay foundation for their clinical applications. Methods The water-soluble crude polysaccharide(ACC) was extracted by acid from corn-cod and classification,purification and sulfation were performed, physiological saline was used as control group,the ACC,purifid polysaccharide(ACP) and sulfated polysaccharide(ACS) were divided intothree groups according to low,medium and high concentrations. The bleeding time(BT) and clotting time(CT) of small white mice and the activated partial thromboplastin time (APTT),thrombin time (TT) and proth rombin time (TT) of mix-plasma from the human were detected. Results
The ACC extracted from 1 kg corn-cod  was 12.5 g;the total sugar content was 59%,G.C. analysis indicated that it contained glucose〖JP3〗 (Glc),xylose (Xyl) and galactose (Gal),and its molar ratio was 15.36∶2.67∶1.00, The total purifid sugar of the ACP was 90.2%, G.C. analysis indicated that it contained glucose (Glc),xylose (Xyl) and galactose (Gal),and its molar ratio was 3.90∶2.12∶1.00;Ion chromatographic analysis showed that the  sulfate content of ACS was 9.86%.Compared with control group,except low and medium concentrations  groups,the  CT and BT in the other groups were  prolonged (P<0.05 or P<0.01),the APTT and TT  in human  mixed plasma were significantly prolonged (P<0.05 or P<0.01) in  concentration-dependent manner,PT had  no change. Conclusion ACC has anticoagulant activity  and perfrom its anticoagulant activity  by endogenous pathway of blood coagulation and anticoagulant effect of common pathway of blood coagulation.

Objective To provide the experimental data for development and utilization of  the medicinal values of the leaves of Zea mays L.through analyzing its chemical constituents. Methods The leaves of Zea mays L. were extracted with 95% ethanol. Repeated column chromatography with maroporous resin column,silical gel,Sephadex LH-20 were used to isolate the chemical constituents and their structures wereidentifed on the basis of spectral data.
Results According to the single spot in TLC,three flavonoid compounds and one sterols compound were isolated from the leaves of Zea mays L.,and their structurs were identifited through physicochemical constants and spectroscopic analysis. They were tricin (1),tricin -5-O-β-D-glucopyranoside (2),tricin -7-O-β-D-glucopyranoside (3),and β-sitosterol(4).Conclusion  Three flavonoid compounds and one sterols compound are isolated and these are isolated from the leaves of Zea mays L. for the first time.

quenced and verified correctly,the restriction fragments were inserted into prokaryotic expression vector pET28 (a),and then transformed into E.coli DH5α and then transformed into E.coli BL21 (DE3) after restriction analysis and sequencing correctly. Y-IPPA was expressed by IPTG induction.The protein purification system was used to purify the proteins and the protein level, activity and specific activity were determined. Results The T-simple 19 consistent with the Y-IPPA base sequence was obtained and the recombinant expression vector pET28 (a)-Y-IPPA was constructed,and transformed into E. coli BL21 (DE3) with IPTG induction and SDS-PAG Eelectrophoresis. The molecular weight of 32 000 was noted in Y-IPPA protein bands.Nickel affinity chromatography was performed to obtain the target protein.The protein level, activity and specific activity  were 0.312 g.L-1,31.13 units.mL-1,and 99.73uints.mg-1.Conclusion The Y-IPPA protein is obtained successfully,and it lays the foundation for further study on its enzymatic features.

Objective To observe the effect of the size of calcined bone particles on osteoconduction and study its influence in osteogenesis. Methods According to the sizes of calcined bone particles they were divided into four groups: small particle group (group A, 0.1-0.3 mm),medium particle group(group B,0.3-0.6 mm),large particle
 group(group C,0.6-0.9 mm) and mixed particle group(group D,0.1-0.9 mm).Then they were rooted in the defective cranial of rabbit respectively .In the postoperative period of 3,6,8 and 12 weeks the materials wereadoped to carry on improved Gomori special dyeing and general histologic observation,light density (A) values of new bone formation integral were determined. Results The results of the improved Gomori special dyeing showed that amount of capillary grew and new bone formation in different degrees was found.Both group A and group D  diplayed mature callus formation. The A values of each group had an  increasing tendency.The A values in group A and group D were significantly higher thanthose in group B and group C (P< 0.05) at each time points . The A values in group A were significantly higher than those in group D(P< 0.05) in 3 and 6 weeks and lower than those in group D in 9  and 12 weeks (P< 0.05). Conclusion The calcined bone  particles with different sizes  all play distinct roles in new bone formation. The effects on new bone fromation in  group A and  group D are stronger than those in group B and  group D. But the effect in  group D displays a stronger osteogenesis in the later period. It indicates that the size of calcined bone particles could be one of important indexes to screen and construct scaffold material in bone tissue engineering.

Objective To isolate enterohemorrhagic E. coli O157 phages from raw sewage and to investigate the biological characteristics of isolated phages and to provide experimental basis for the development of a biologic agent against enterohemorrhagic E.coli O157. Methods  Bacteriophages were isolated from raw sewage and were identified by plaque methods using enterohemorrhagic E.coli O157 as host cells. After purification ofphages with ultrafitration,the size and morphology of phages were examined by electron microscope,and the multiplicity of infection and growth curve of phages were carried out by mean of host bacteria and phages mixture in different portions. The structural and nonstructural proteins of phages were analyzed by SDS-PAGE electrophoresis. The extracted genomes of phages were digested with restriction enzymes. Results The results of electron microscope showed that the head of phages exhibited a spherical form,40 nm in diameter and these phages ha
d a tail,about 80 nm in length. The multiplicity of infection of phages was 10-2,that was,when the ratio of host bacteria to phages being 1∶100,the most efficient lysis. The growth curve of phages revealed that the incubation was 10 min,the outbreak of the time was 30 min and the lysis amount was 130. SDS-PAGE anal
ysis showed that 13 kinds of proteins of phages were found and their relative molecular mass were 16 000-20 000. Electrophoresis of DNA showed that the size of the genome of phages was 23 000 bp. Conclusion A strain of bacteriophages againstenterohemorrhagic E. coli O157 is isolated and characterized,and it is lytic and highly specific to E. coli O157. According to the biologic features,enterohemorrhagic E. coli O157 phages are classified into Caudovirales,Siphoviridae.

After 6 weeks abdominal injection of rats with schisandrae chinenesis oil,the fasting blood glucose(FBG) and fasting plasma insulin level(FINS) in serum of the rats in various groups were examined;the malondialdehyde(MDA) content,superoxide dismutase(SOD) and catalase(CAT) activities in serum were measured;RT-PCR assay was used to examine the expressions of Bcl-2,Bax and Caspase 3 mRNA. Results Compared with diabetic model group,the level of FBG in schisandrae chinenesis oil gourp was significantly decreased(P<0.05),the FINS level was markedly increased(P<0.05);the serum MDA content,and the SOD and CAT activities were increased(P<0.05)
;the expression of Bcl-2 mRNA was increased(P<0.05),the expression level of Caspase 3 mRNA was decreased(P<0.05),and the Bax mRNA expression had no change. However there were no differences in these indexes between control group and normal schisandrae chinenesis oil group. Conclusion Schisandrae chinenesis oil can significantly reduce blood glucose by decreasing lipid peroxidation,increasing the antioxidant capacity of the d

Methods The human colon carcinoma HCT-8cells cultivated in vitro at logarithmic growth phase were divided into 1.25,2.50,5.00,10.00 and  20.00 mg.L-1 juglone groups,while the control group was set up. The ability of cell adhesion was detected by fibronectin adhesion assay after treated for 72 h,the activities of MMP2 and MMP9 of the cells were detected by gelatin zymography analysis,the expressions of MMP2 and MMP9 proteins were examined by Western blo
tting method. Results Compared with control group, the adhesion rates of HCT-8 in 1.25,2.50,5.00,10.00 and 20.00 mg.L-1juglone groups were decreased(P<0.05);the activities of MMP2 in 2.50,5.00,10.00 and 20.00 mg.L-1 juglone groups was decreased;the activities of MMP9  in all juglone groups with different concentrations were decreased(P<0.05);the expressions of MMP2 and MMP9 proteins in juglone groups with different concentrations were decreased(P<0.01). Conclusion Juglone could significantly inhibit the adhesion ability of HCT-8 cells and decrease the activities and protein expressions of MMP2 and MMP9. It is suggested that the
decreasing of the activities and protein expressions of MMP2 and MMP9  might be the possible mechanism that juglone can inhibit the  adhesion  of  HCT-8 cells in vitro.

Abstract:Objective To investigate the expressions of TGFβ1/Smads signaling pathway proteins in breast cancer tissues and clarify their  relationship with the clinicopathological characteristics of breast cancer. Methods The expressions of TGFβ
1,TGFβRⅠ,TGFβRⅡ,Smad2/3 and Smad4 proteins in 121 cases of breast ductal carcinoma and 21 cases of normal breast ductal epithelium tissues were detected in tissue microarray by immunohistochemistry EnVision method,and the relationship between their expressions and clinicopathological characteristics of breast cancer was analyzed. Results The immunohistochemical staining results showed that the expressions of TGFβ1,TGFβRⅠ,TGFβRⅡ and Smad2/3 in breast cancer tissues were higher;and the expression of Smad4 in breast cancer  tissues was lower than that in normal ductal epithelium tissue(P<0.01). The expression level of TGFβ1 in less than 55 years of age patients was significantly higher than that in over 55 years of patients(P<0.05);and the TGFβ1 expression in patients with breast cancer in PR negative group was significantly higher than that in positive group(P<0.05). The expressions of TGFβ1,TGFβRⅠ and TGFβRⅡ in patients without lymph node metastasis were significantly higher than those in patients with metastasis(P<0.05 or P<0.01). The expressions of TGFβRⅡ and Smad2/3 had significant differences between patients with different clinical stages. The expressions of TGFβRⅡ in the patients with breast cancer in stage Ⅱa,Ⅱb and Ⅲa  were lower than that in stage 0 (P<0.01).The Smad2/3 expression in the patients with breast cancer in stageⅠ and Ⅱb  were lower than that in stage 0(P<0.01). The expression of TGFβ1 was positively correlated to the expressions of TGFβRⅠand TGFβRⅡ(r=0.46,P<0.01;r=0.44,P<0.01). Conclusion High expression of TGFβ1/Smads proteins might be helpful markers for the diagnosis of breast cancer.It indicates that TGFβ1/S
mads proteins  can be used as indicators in judging the prognosis of breast cancer.

Methods  The surgical resection specimens including 20 cases of normal ovarian tissues,20 cases of benign ovarian epithelial tumor tissues and 58 cases of o epithelial ovarian carcinoma tissues were selected,immunohistochemical staining was used to detect the expression of P21 ptotein. Results  The expression rate of P21 protein in epithelial ovarian carcinoma tissues was significantly lower than those in normal ovarian tissues and benign tumor tissues(P<0.05),and the expression rate of P21 protein gradually decreased  with the increase of histological grade and  surgical stage,but there was no significant difference  in the expressions rate of P21 protein between different histological types(P>0.05). Conclusion The low expression of P21 protein may contribute to the incidence and development of epithelial ovarian carcinoma,and its low expression may predict the high  malignancy of tumor, more aggressive  and poor prognosis.

Abstract:Objective To analyze the relationship between the expression of filamin A(FLNa) in breast cancer tissues  and clinical characteristics and pathological features and to explore the relationship between FLNa and the indexes of prognosis and the feasibility of FLNa as the evalution index of prognosis of breast cancer.Methods  The expressions  of  FLNa in 96 specimens of breast cancer tissues were detected using immunohistochemistry technique.The correlation between FLNa expression and the clinicopathological features was analyzed.Results The positive rate of FLNa in breast cancer tissues was 63.54% .The expression level of FLNa was correlated with the TNM staging,lymph node metastasis,vascular or neural invasion,menstruation state,risk stratification(P<0.05);but not correlated with the patients’ age,tumor size,lesion site,pathological classification,histological type,ER,PR and CerbB-2(P>0.05).Conclusion The expression of FLNa has a high correlation with the evalution index of prognosis of  breast cancer.It indicates that FLNa may become an index for judgement of prognosis of breast cancer.

Abstract:Objective  To investigate the expressions of CD44 in normal oral mucosa tissues,paracancerous tissues and oral squamous cell carcinoma( OSCC )tissuses and to provide the basis for the determination of CD44 in gene therapy of OSCC.
Methods The expression of CD44 in 65 cases of OSCC,20 cases of paracancerous tissues and 10 cases of normal oral mucosa tissues were detected by immunohistochemistry method.Results The positive expression rate of CD44 in OSCC tissues was higher than those in normal oral mucosa and paracancerous tissues (P<0.05).The expression rate of CD44 was increased with the decreasing of the  differentiation degree of OSCC.The expression of CD44 was higher in the cases with lymphnode metastasis than that in the cases without lymph node  metastasis(P<0.01).The expression of CD44 in advanced stage group was higher than that in early stage group which were classified by clinical stages(P<0.05).The expression of CD44 was not related to the gender,age of the patients or the length,localization of carcinoma(P>0.05).Conclusion The expression levels of CD44 in normal oral mucosa  tissues,paracancerous tissues and OSCC tissues are different,it indicates that high expression of CD44 may be an important indicator for  judgement  of  malignant degree and prognosis of OSCC.

After 2 to 3 cycles of chemotherapy,the differences in the overall response and the rate of pathological complete remission (pCR) were analyzed with Logistic regression analysis.Results The overall response of the patients with breast cancer who carried with GG genotype had no significant difference compared with those carried with AA and AG genotypes (73.6%   vs  69.0%,χ2=0.240,P=0.625),and the rate of pCR in breast cancer patients carried with AA and AG genotypes was higher than those carried with GG genotype (55.2%   vs  16.5%,χ2=17.181,P=0.000;OR=13.935,95%CI=4.359 -44.541,P=0.000).Conclusion CD44 rs4756195 polymorphisms are closely associated with the response to anthracyclines-based chemotherapy in breast cancer patients,and the patients with breast cancer who carried with A allelotype have the higher rate of pCR.CD44 rs4756195 polymorphisms may be used as one of the indicators to evaluate the hemotherapeutic response of the patients with breast cancer.

 of polyunsaturated fatty acids metabolic rate-limiting enzymes and coronary heart disease(CHD) and to clarify the action mechanism of FADS1/FADS2 in the occurrence of CHD.Methods 237 patients diagnosed with CHD and 224 healthy controls
from the Han population in Northern China were selected.Questionnaires were used to collect the basic information about individual objects.PCR-RFLP analysis was applied to detect the rs174556 SNP of FADS1 and the rs174617 SNP of FADS2.UNPHASED 3.012 and statistical software SPSS 13.0 were used to analyze the combined effect of two loci and frequency distribution of alleles and genotypes.Results The genotypic frequencies of various sites didn’[KG-*5]t deviate from Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium in both case and control groups (P>0.05).The allelic and genotypic frequency distributions of rs174556 in FADS1 gene showed significant difference between case and control groups.The frequency distributions of allele T and homozygote TT were significantly different between case and control groups (P=0.009,P=0.038).Conclusion The gene polymorphisms of rs174556 in FADS1 gene is very likely to be associated with CHD in Chinese Han population.

Methods Automatic electrochemical technology of light was used to detect the serum AFP,CA125,CA199 and CEA levels in 102 patients with liver diseases (55 cases of chroic hepatitis,of which  mild 24 cases,moderate 21 cases,severe 10 cases;47 cases of liver cirrhosis following hepatitis )and 22 healthy subjects.Results The AFP and CA199 levels in patients with chronic hepatitis were obviously higher than those in control group,the AFP levels in mild,moderate,and severe groups were 2.8,4.8, and 20.0  μg/L-1,the CA199 levels were 12.20,18.40 and 39.10 U/mL-1,it had  a rising trend with  disease progression(P< 0.05);the CA125 levels in chronic hepatitis patients were 7.95,18.08 and 54.32 U/mL-1,the CA125 levels in moderate  and severe groups were  higher than that in  control group,the difference was statistically significant (P< 0.05);but there was no statistically significant difference between moderate and server groups(P> 0.05). The positive rates of AFP,CA199,and CA125  in patients with liver cirrhosis were 27.7%,55.3%, and 65.9%,and they were higher than those in hepatitis group (10.9%,25.5%,29.1%)(P< 0.05). The  positive
 rate  of CEA had no significant difference  between  hepatitis and liver cirrhosis groups(P>0.05). The AFP,CA199, and CA125 in  the  patients with decompensated  liver cirrhosis were 20.05  μg/L-1,53.03 U/mL-1, and 144.80 U/mL-1,and they were significantly  higher than those in compenstatory cirrhosis(14.45  μg/L-1, 24.45 U/mL-1,and 30.10 U/mL-1 )(P< 0.05).Conclusion  The AFP and CA199 levels are increaesd  with the degree of liver damage,and they can be used as evaluation index of the non-invasive diagnosis of liver damage.For viral hepatitis and liver cirrhosis patients with AFP rising,dynamic monitoring of AFP level has the important meaning for early detection of liver cancer.CA125 can be used to identify compensatory cirrhosis with decompensated cirrhosis,and has early diagnosis value in trace ascites.

Objective To investigate the expression of osteopontin(OPN) in ova
rian serous cystadenocarcinoma tissues and explore the relationship with clinicopathological characteristics.
Methods  The expressions of OPN in 70 cases of ovarian serous cystadenocarcinoma tissues,22 cases of ovarian serous cystadenoma tissues,and 15 cases of normal ovarian tissues were detected by immunohistochemistry method.Results ① The positive expression rate of OPN in ovarian serous cystadenocarcinoma tissues was 82.9%,much higher than those in ovarian serous cystadenoma tissues(22.7%) and nomal ovarian tissues(13.3%)(P<0.05).② The positive expression rates of OPN in stage Ⅰ,stage Ⅱ,stage Ⅲ,stage Ⅳovarian serous cystadenocarcinoma tumor tissues were 60.0%, 76.2%, 96.2%,and 100.0%.The po
sitive rate of OPN expression in stageⅢ and Ⅳ tumor tissues(97.1%) was   dramatically higher than that in stage Ⅰand stage Ⅱ (69.4%)(P<0.05).The positive expression rates of OPN in G1,G2,and G3 ovarian serous cystadenocarcinoma tumor tissues were 74.1%,80.0% and 95.7%,it was dramatically higher in G3 tumor tissues than that in G1 tumor tissues(P<0.05).There was correlation between the positive rate of OPN
and pathological grading and clinical stages,the later clinical stage and the worse differentiation of ovarian serous cystadenocarcinoma,the stronger positive expression rate of OPN.③The positive expression rate of OPN in ovarian serous cystadenocarcinoma tumor  tissues with ascites(95.2%)was higher than that in tumor tissues without ascites(64.3%)(P<0.05).Conclusion Overexpression of OPN may promote the development,invasion and metastasis of ovarian serous cystadenocarcinom.The detection of OPN  can be used as a prognostic marker in judgement of malignant degree and prognosis  in ovarian cancer patients.

Objective To detect the chromosome in missed abortion an dead fetus tissues with fluorescence in situ hybridization(FISH) and  study the relationship between number abnormality of chromosomes and missed abortion,dead fetus.Methods 107 cases  of  missed abortion or dead fetus were detected and  the
 number abnormalities  of 13,16,18,21,22,X,Y chromosomes were detected  by FISH.Results Among 107 cases of samples,the number of useful cases was 99,there were 21 cases of abnormal results,the abnormal ratio was  21.2%.Trisomy of chromosome 21 and 16 had the highest incidence(8/21) among autosomal samples,followed by trisomy of chromosome 18(7/21),22(7/21) and 13(6/21).XXY had the highest incidence(6/21) among sex chromosome abnormalities.There was no significant  difference in the  chromosome abnormalities between different sexes(P>0.05).Conclusion Chromosome abnormality can cause the abmormal development of embryo tissue  in the early and middle pregnancy,and lead to embryo stop growing or cause fetal death;and the occurrence rate has no relationship with sex.So it has clinical guiding significance to make targeted chromosome examination  in early and middle  pregnancy with FISH technique  when the woman  has the history of abnormal pregnancy or   high risk pregnancy.

Objective To investigate the realationship between IFN- γ,IL-17,IL-33 and bronchial asthma,and observe the influence of budesonide and formoterol treatment in the cytokines mentioned above and pulmonary function in the patients with bronchial asthma.Methods  40 patients who were diagnosed as moderate asthma with acute onset were divided into two groups:general treatment group and budesonide and formoterol inhaling treatment group,with 20 patients in each group.20 healthy adults were selected  as control group.The patients in general treatment group were treated with antibiotics and aminofilina for 2 weeks,while the patients in inhaling treatm
ent group were given general treatment and budesonide and formoterol inhaling.The levels of IFN-γ,IL-17,IL-33 and pulomanry function were detected,and then the indexes were compared among three groups including before and after  treatment.Results The levels of IFN-γ,IL-17 and IL-33 in general treatment group and inhaling treatment group before treatment were higher than those  in control group(P<0.05),but the PEF and FEV1/FVC were lower(P<0.05).After treatment the levels of IL-33 and IL-17 in inhaling treatment groups were decreased than before treatment(P<0.05),but the PEF and FEV1/FVC were increased(P<0.05); the levels of IL-33 and IL-17 in treatment group  were lower after treatment than those in general treatment group,but the PEF and FEV1/FVC were igher.No statistical significance in the level of  IFN-γ was found  between before and after treatment in general treatment g
roup and inhaling treatment   group.Conclusion The levels of  IFN- γ,IL-17 and IL-33 are significantly  increased in patients with bronchial asthma; budesonide and formoterol inhaling can decrease the levels of IL-17 and IL-3,and improve the pulmonary function.

Abstract:Objective To study the application of     ATP-tumor chemosensitivity assay of in vitro susceptibility test in the chemotherapy of  non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC),and provide basis for selection of clinical therapy program.Methods 52 samples of NSCLC  with pleural fluid were selected and divided into two groups. The patients in experience treatment group(n=20)  were given the standard program based on experience [Paclitaxel(PTX)+ Caboplatin(CBP)];the  pleural fluid specimes in susceptibility treatment  group(n=32) were given in vitro susceptibility test for  cisplatin(DDP),navelbine(NVB),PTX,CBP,gemcitabine(GEM),PTX+CBP,navelbine and  NVB+CBP,GEM + DDP, the chemotherapy program was selected according to the results of in vitro susceptibility test;and the efficiency was compared between two groups. Results A single medication,NVB and PTX  had the highest efficiency of 28.1% to NSCLC in vitro,the efficiency of GEM was 25%,the efficiciency of CBP was 21.95%,the efficicency (17.6%)of DDP was the lowest.Combined program showed good therapeutic effect,in which GEM + DDP had the highest efficiency of 55.9% in vitro,and PTX + CBP  up to 50%.NVB+CBP had the lowest efficiency(40.6%) in vitro.The efficiency (65.6%) in suceptibihity treatment  group  was higher compared with  experience treatment group(40.0%)(P<0.05).Conclusion The efficiencies of different chemotherapy drugs for NSCLC in vitro are different.The chemotherapy program  based on susceptibility test can achieve better clinical efficacy than experience  chemotherapy program.

Abstract:Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of Self-prepared Softening Liver and Eliminating Fat Decoction in treatment of  non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH).Methods 172 patients with NASH,according to the willingness of patients,were divided into western medicine treatment group (n=50),Chinese medicine treatment group (n=56),and combined treatment group with  Chinese and western medicine (n=66).The patients in Western medicine treatment group were treated with oral western medicine for protecting the liver,reducing enzyme and lowering blood lipids,in traditional Chinese medicine group with Self-prepared Softening Liver and Eliminating Fat Decoction,in combined treatment group with western medicine  combined with Chinese medicine,and lasted for 3 months.The liver   function,serum lipids,liver image were observed.Results In combined treatment group,50 cases were cured,12 cases were effective,4 cases were ineffective,the cure rate was 75.8%,the total effective rate was 93.9%; in  Chinese medicine treatment group,38 cases were cured,15 cases were effective,3 cases were ineffective,the cure rate was 67.9%,the total effective rate was 94.6%; in western medicine group,26 cases were cured,17 cases were effective,7 cases were ineffective,the cure rate was 52.0%,the total effective rate was 86.0%.In Chinese medicine treatment group and combined treatment group  the cure rates and the total effective rates were  significantly higher than those in  western medicine group (P<0.05 or  P<0.01); the cure rate in combined treatment group was higher than that in Chinese medicine treatment group (P<0.05); the difference in effective rate between   combined treatment group and Chinese treatment group had no significant difference (P> 0.05).The serum ALT,AST,and GGT levels after treatment in three groups were lower than before   treatment (P<0.01); the ALT,AST,and GGT levels in  Chinese medicine group and combined treatment group were lower than those in western medicine group (P<0.05 or   P<0.01); the ALT,AST,and GGT levels after treatment in combined treatment group and Chinese medicine group had no significant difference (P> 0.05).The serum TG and TC after treatment in three groups were decreased compared with before treatment,there were significant differences (P<0.01); the TG and TC levels in Chinese medicine treatment group and combined treatment group were lower than those in  western medicine group (P<0.05 or P<0.01); there were no significant difference in the   TG  and TC levels between Chinese medicine treatment group and combined treatment group(P>0.05).In the course of treatment,some short-term gastrointestinal side effects occurred in western medicine group,but Chinese medicine treatment group and combined treatment group had no obvious adverse reactions.Conclusion  Self-prepared Softening Liver and Eliminating Fat Decoction has the exact effect on NASH and has no adverse reactions; Self-prepared Softening Liver and Eliminating Fat Decoction combined with western medicine can significantly improve the clinical cure rate of NASH,and  reduce the gastrointestinal tract reaction caused by western medicine.

Abstract:Objective  To enplore the methods to  effectively control the postoperational complications and improve the curative effect in treatment  of  obstructive sleep apneahypopnea syndrome(OSAHS).Methods 59 patients with typeⅠ OSAHS were divided into two groups.The patients in experiment group(39 cases) were treated with  soft palate landscape orientation two fusiform cuts and enlarged two amygdales resection;the patients in  control group(20 cases) were treated  with  uvulopalatopharyngoplasty (UPPP) or reserving uvula UPPP.The PSG at preoperation and postoperation,and snore rate,Epworth score at  postoperation in  two groups were analyzed and compared.The intension and the time of duration of postoperation pharyngalgia,backflow from nasal cavity or missing deglutition,cavum pharyngis stenosis were observed.Results The effective rate in experiment group was 92.31%,in control group was 70.00%,there was significant difference between two groups (P<0.05);compared with preoperation,the  AHI was decreased(P<0.05) and the average arterial oxyhemoglobin saturation was increased(P<0.05)after operation.There was no significant difference in PSG  between two groups;compared with control group,the degree of pharyngeal ache in experiment group was redeced after operation;after 6-12 months follow-up,there were  significant differences in the changes of snore,nasopharynx’s backflow or missing deglutition and cavum pharyngis stenosis (P<0.05).Conclusion Soft palate landscape orientation two fusiform cuts and enlarged two amygdales resection  not only  completely reserve uvula,but also  enlarge soft palate shaping confines in treatment of OSAHS;not only effectively enlarge the ventilate’[KG-*5]s sectional area of cavum oropharyngeum,but also preferably keep the normal physiological morphology and function of cavum pharynges and avoid the occurrence of complications such as palatepharynx insufficiency,etc.

Abstract:Objective To observe  the efficacies of GP chemotherapy and GP chemotherapy combined with Aidi injection in treatment of advanced non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) in elder patients and clarify the essentiality of Aidi injection for treating elder patients with advanced NSCLC.Methods 68 patients beyond 60 years old with advanced NSCLC were randomly divided into combined treatment group and GP group.The patients in treatment group received both GP chemotherapy and Aidi injection,the patients in GP group received GP chemotherapy only.The efficacy was analyzed after at least two cycles. Results The short-term effect had no significant difference between two groups(P>0.05).The elevated rate of Karnofsky score in two groups was significantly different(P<0.05).The incidence rate of leucopenia in combined treatment group was significantly lower than that in GP group (P<0.05).The incidence rate of gastrointestinal tract and the damage of liver and renal in combined treatment group were lower than those in GP group,but there were no significant differences(P>0.05).Conclusion Aidi injection combined with GP chemotherapy has significant effect on improving quality of life and reducing the side effects of chemotherapy in elder patients with advanced NSCLC.

Abstract:Objective To investigate  the prevalence and risk factors of nocturia in healthy young and middle-aged men and provide scientific evidence for prevention and treatment of nocturia.Methods A random cluster sampling survey was performed in healthy aviation personnel aged between 20 and 58 years.1 329 questionnaire were available for evaluation.Univariate and multivariate logistic regression were carried out to analyze the correlation between nocturia and its relavant factors.Results The overall prevalence of nocturia  was 4.1% in healthy young and middle-aged men.The prevalences of nocturia in 20-29 years old men,30-29 years old men,and 40-58 years old men were 2.2%,4.1%,and 6.8%,respectively; it increased  with the increasing of the age (P<0.05).A multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that the OR and  95% confidence interval (95%CI) were 1.752 (1.482-2.072) for age,1.803(1.406-2.312) for depression or anxiety,1.704(1.326-2.191) for snoring and 3.102(1.733-5.554) for sexual dysfunction,respectively.Conclusion Age,depression or anxiety and snoring are shown to be risk factors of nocturia in healthy young and middle-aged men.The association between nocturia and sexual  dysfunction is strong in the study.Nocturia is associated with various factors,which suggesting that multiple approaches are needed for prevention and treatment of patients with nocturia.
