Application of the Hybrid Power on Military Vehicle

Abstract: Based on BJ212 military light off road vehicle,researches have been done on the parameters selection of the power train and performance prediction after modification of power train to hybrid electric power drive.The result shows that the hybrid off load vehicle can function as electric driving and stand electricity generating,which meets the military need.Compared with the conventional vehicle,the hybrid vehicle performance is better:maximum speed is improved by 30% and grade ability by 34%,and fuel consumption is reduced by 30%.At the same time,it can offer electric drive of up to 33.7 kilometers at the speed of 50 km/h,so the design is proved feasible.
