Asphalt Pavement Surface Distress Image Recognition Based on Moment Invariant Feature

A method of image feature representation is put forward,which may reduce calculation of pavement surface distress image classification.Pavement surface image is divided into 64?64 pixels subimages,and greyness variances are used to represent subimages feature.Meanwhile,a subimage pattern classifier is designed based on BP artificial neural network,all classifying results of subimages pattern are arrayed in a matrix,which represents pavement surface distress image segmentation.Moment invariant of matrix is used to represent pavement distress image feature,and furthermore,a pavement distress forward feed neural network classifier is designed based on global optimization algorithm.Finally,pavement distress image recognition experiment is done,and accurately classifying rate is 83.3%.

An Experimental Study on Dimethyl Ether Spray Characteristics

Spray characteristics and evaporating process of dimethyl ether(DME) fuel injected by a single hole nozzle into a constant volume bomb at room temperature were investigated by using the schlieren optical system and a high speed digital camera.Spray development photographs taken at different bomb pressures,injection pressures,nozzle hole diameters and injection quantities were analyzed and compared with those of diesel.Results show that DME spray has the similar development trend to the diesel spray with the variation of back pressure.However,spray tip penetration of DME is shorter and spray cone is wider than those of diesel.DME evaporation is much quicker than diesel spray,and concentration distribution of DME fuel in the spray is more uniform than that in the diesel spray.

A feed in device for sectional Multi point forming of sheet metal was designed,it meets the requirment of variable shape very well,and the feed in of the sheet metal can be controlled accurately by the device.The automation of the process from feeding to forming was realized.The central element of the control system of the device was developed based on programmable logical controller(PLC),some key techniques on the design of the software of the control system were described and the general structure of ladder program for the control system were described.

Numerical Simulation on Defects during Multi-point Forming Process of Square Cup

Based on the Updated Lagrange scheme multi point forming(MPF) process of square cup is simulated using Hill′s elastic plastic anisotropy materials model.Dimpling and wrinkling defects during the MPF process of square cups of different materials,with different shapes,different thickness,and under different deformations and different blank holder forces are discussed.The experiment on the MPF of square cup is carried out to verify the validity of numerical simulation.Moreover,the experiment also indicates that dimpling and wrinkling can be suppressed effectively by so called elastic cushion technique.

Laser reactive sintering behavior,phase transformation,microstructure and microhardness characters of a Fe Al system powder compacts are investigated.The experimental results show that under the laser beam irradiation,the powder compacts exhibit combustion and propagation.Products of the consinting of compounds reacted from elements are obtained during the sintering pure elements.Al rich phases exist in grain boundary while a few are separated out in the inside grains.As the amount of Al in the alloy increases,more Al rich phases are formed on the grain bowndary and thus the hardness of the alloy increases.

In this paper,analytic method and FEM are used to deal with strength analysis of carbon fiber composite rotor of integrated energy storage system considering the anisotropic character of carbon fiber composite material.The difference between the analytic method and FEM is demonstrated.The optimum idea is that the flywheel′s rotate speed can be improved to make the best use of the carbon fiber′s good property by using the shaft made of low density and elastic modulus material,or by adding elastic layer between shaft and flywheel.

Application of the Hybrid Power on Military Vehicle

Based on BJ212 military light off road vehicle,researches have been done on the parameters selection of the power train and performance prediction after modification of power train to hybrid electric power drive.The result shows that the hybrid off load vehicle can function as electric driving and stand electricity generating,which meets the military need.Compared with the conventional vehicle,the hybrid vehicle performance is better:maximum speed is improved by 30% and grade ability by 34%,and fuel consumption is reduced by 30%.At the same time,it can offer electric drive of up to 33.7 kilometers at the speed of 50 km/h,so the design is proved feasible.

Testing numerical hybrid method for determining linear constitutive relationship of terrain is presented,and applied to obtain linear constitutive parameters of Takelamagan desert sand under moving vehicle.Nonlinear elastic constitutive model and elastic plastic constitutive model of the desert sand under moving vehicle are set up by tests using soil dynamic triaxial test apparatus.These results lay the foundations for developing sand vehicle,exploiting desert resources and crossing through desert area in military operations.

In order to predict the vehicle impact on air quality in a city street,an investigation was carried out by numerical simulation and wind tunnel experiment to evaluate pollutant dispersion in an urban street canyon flanked with arcade.This paper presented some interesting results.A clockwise vortex with its core in upper part of street canyon forms within the urban street canyon flanked with arcade,and a counterclockwise vortex forms within the arcade near the windward side of buildings simultaneously.The "climbing wall effect" occurs at the leeward side of buildings.Because of the influence of the arcade,the general pollutant concentration in the street increases greatly,and the concentration within the arcade is very high especially at the leeward side.

By analyzing the characteristics of the water films,the performance of cement concrete,the form and materials of the working parts and some external factors at the contact interfaces between cement concrete and its working parts,the main factors,such as the interfacing water film,water cement ratio,sand cement ratio,sand ratio,the sharp of rough aggregate,admixture,the form and materials of the working parts,the normal pressure and working temperature are given.Based on studying the key factors,the effective ways of reducing the cement concrete adhesion are developed.The results lay the foundation for developing the bionic technology to reduce cement concrete′s adhesion in road construction.

A non continuous control technique to perform synchronized control of heavy duty lift multi cylinder hydraulic system has been advanced.Practice has proved that the suggested technique demonstrates good synchronizing function to meet the needs of recovering petroleum.Furthermore,the technique is characterized by simple algorithm,good realizability and real time ability,high reliability and low cost,and worth industrial popularization.It appears that noncontinuous control technique is effective to realize digital control of hydraulic system.

To meet development of hydraulic launch system and arresting recovery system of pilotless aircraft,turbine damper prototypes with different sizes and different liquid mediums have been tested to measure their damping moment modulus.Results show that damping moment modulus of damper with given size and liquid medium is almost constant and basically in direct proportion to square of rotor speed.Structure size and liquid medium density are decisive factors affecting damping moment modulus.The research project has laid the foundation of damper design.

The influnces of tensioned stress,thermal stress and centrifugal stress on sawing stability are discussed by means of sawing tests and temperature field measurement.It is demonstrated that the tensioned circular saw can eliminate the harmful effects of the thermal stress,which can improve the stability of sawing process.

Applying PLC in phaser and time sequence control of controllable silicon,a new type of control system used to control the phaser and time sequence of controllable silicon has been developed for the magnetic particle flaw detector.With the appropriate structure,the control system works steadily and reliably.Anti interference and control accuracy of the system are greatly improved.

Based on the variance of the wavelet coefficients of fractal signal at different levels,a new method of estimating the variance of added noise and the parameters of fractal signal was proposed in this paper,then the 1/ƒ fractal signal can be estimated from the additive white noise.The simulation results show that this method is simple,reliable,practicable and effective because it doesn′t need to know the parameters of fractal signal and the statistical characteristics of added white noise in advance,besides that,this method is robust to the error of SNR estimated.

In this paper,we present a heuristic reduced algorithm,denoted Red Fre Signi,that satisfies the attribute significance and attribute frequency at same time.This algorithm is based on the algorithms of attribute significance and resolution matrix.It takes the attribute′s core and user′s preference set as part of the attribute reduction,and using frequency as the heuristic information of attribute selection,and creating the frequency information of calculation attributes and undistinguishable matrix simultaneously,so the calculating time is reduced.Accordingly,a decision mining algorithm is presented which is based on rule support and confidence.Users can extract the useful rules effectively by using this algorithm.

A Hash Tree Based on Frequency of Data Accessed

Hash tree is a data structure that is used frequently.But if the nodes of the tree are not fully loaded into the main memory,the hash based algorithm becomes not effective due to the increasing of interrupts of paging faults.In this paper,a method for hash tree generation based on the joint probability of item set is presented.The data is arranged sequentially in linear space according to the access frequency.Such data storaging mode can either adapt the program local character feature of operating system or acheiving the objective for reducing the I/O operations and enhancing the data access efficiency.The result of experiments showed that the optimized hash tree performed better.

According to the method presented by Li Dong sheng etc.[1],we make use of power model of strengthening to develop the relation between stress and strain.The Bauschinger effect and the normal anisotropy and strain rate sensitivity to establish the model for solving the drawbead restrain forces.The results computed by this model are compared with those obtained by experiment.

Weighted Gray Correlational Analysis Method Based on DEA

A new method called weighted gray correlational analysis method based on DEA (Data Envelopment Analysis) is presented.It integrates favorable aspects of both DEA and gray correlational analysis,and takes gray correlational analysis as a central model and DEA as auxiliary model.DEA determines the weight vector of correlation coefficients for each sub factor to calculate the relatively optimal correlation degrees and then realizes the priority order of each sub factor by them.The weighted gray correlational analysis method based on DEA not only overcomes the subjectivity when the weight vector is determined,but also gets the optimality of the prior order evaluation by non uniform weight.By this way,its fairity of the analyzing result is shown.Finally,an example of green products assessment is given to prove its validity.

Noise Source Identification of CA498 Diesel Engine and Its Noise Suppression Measures

Based on fundamentals of sound intensity measurement,surface noise sources radiating from CA498 diesel engine have been identified by means of pulse 2000 multifunctional vibration and noise measuring system.Sound intensity isograms were plotted with the aid of MATLAB 2D drawing software.Main noise sources were located and arranged in order of magnitude.After coating the major noise sources intake manifold,cylinder head cover and oil pan by high polymer,engine noise was reduced significantly.Sound power level is reduced by 2dB(A),all sound pressure levels are also more or less reduced.
