Sensorless drive of surface-mounted PMSM for EPS based on high-frequency signal injection

Abstract:

The feasibility of detecting rotor position of surface-mounted permanent magnet synchronous motor with this scheme was discussed.The influence of high-frequency signal on torque ripple was analyzed.The simulation investigation showed that this control scheme can detect the rotor position accurately and have little influence on torque ripple.
