Dynamic detection strategy for brake shoe wear of operating vehicle

Abstract:

For realizing the wear dynamic detection of operating vehicle brake shoe,the brake shoe wear detection model adopting resistance classification method was presented.The resistance distribution principle of sensor was researched with the detection accuracy of 10%、5%、2%、1%、0.5%和0.2%,respectively.Simulation results show that the approximate linear relationship is clear between the parallel resistances before and after wearing accompanying with higher detection precision and lower split-voltage resistance.Wear sensors of brake shoe were developed and experiments were performed.Experimental results show that the detection voltage threshold of the experimental sensor is 0.15 V.The dynamic detection for brake shoe wear is realized with wearing value of 1 mm and detection precision of 8.3%.The feasibility and accuracy of the dynamic detection method for brake shoe wear are inspected.
