Dynamic Surface Controller Algorithm of Vehicle ACC

Abstract: Facing the nonlinear feature of the vehicle, a dynamic surface controller algorithm for the adaptive cruise control(ACC) was established by introducing dynamic surface controller .Simulation program was compiled,and it was applyed to typical following condition and cutin condition . Simulation result shows that the controller can realize ACC under following condition and cutin condition with good stability, and the control result of the proposed algorithm is in agreement with the practised driver handling behavior.
