A Parallel Difference Scheme for Parabolic Equation
Lü Gui-xia, MA Fu-ming
J4. 2002, 40 (04):  327-330.
Abstract ( 1075 )
The present paper deals with the finite difference scheme with intrinsic parallelism for numerically solving the heat equation. In this procedure, the domain over which the problem is defined is divided into subdomains by introducing interface points. The interface values between subdomains are found by explicit formulas, once these values have been calculated, subdomain problems can be solved in paralledl. The stability conditions and maximum norm error estimates for these procedures have been derived, which demonstrate that our schemes have satisfactory stability and higher convergence order.

Phase-plane Analysis and Numerical Scheme of Shear Flow of Johnson-Segalman Fluid
LI Song-tao, HUANG Ming-you, AN Li-jia
J4. 2002, 40 (04):  345-349.
Abstract ( 1299 )
The present paper deals with the shear flow of Johnson-Segalman fluid. On the basis of the analysis of the steady state solutions, it is obtained that a steady-state solution of JS model corresponds to a point on the steady total stress curve at which the total stress is T(X). When T is sufficiently small or sufficiently large , there is a single steady state solution , while there are three steady state solutions when T is intermediate in value. The steady state solution is judged to be stable or unstable in phase plane in this paper. At last , a new numerical scheme is devised by using backward finite difference method to solve JS model.

Analytical Approximations to Period and Periodic Solution for a Class of Nonlinear Oscillators
ZHOU Xian-bo,LI Peng-song,WU Bai-sheng
J4. 2002, 40 (04):  350-354.
Abstract ( 1340 )
This paper deals with the nonlinear oscillations of conservative single-degree-of-freedom systems with odd nonlinearity. By combining the linearization of the governing equation with the method of harmonic balance , we have established analytical approximate formulas for the period and the periodic solution. These formulas are valid for oscillations with small as well as large amplitude. It is illustrated by one example that the proposed formulas can give very satisfactory approximate results.

J4. 2002, 40 (04):  397-399.
Abstract ( 1026 )
Iron nitride films were deposited on glass substrate by DC magnetron sputtering with mixed Ar/N2 as discharge (N2 fraction of 5%) and at different time ( 30 min , 20 min , 10 min , and 5 min , respectively ) . The composition of the films was analyzed by means of X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy experiment (XPS) . The layer phases and the surface morphologies of the films were characterized with the aid of grazing incidence X-ray scattering and X-ray diffraction as well as atomic force microscopy . For the film grown at N2 fraction of 5 % , the phase of FeN0.056appeared . The surface of the films showed the selfaffine character . The values of roughness exponent α≈ 0.65 and growth exponent β≈ 0.53 are in agreement with the improvised KPZ exponents based on Kolmogorov's energy cascade concept .

Searching for the Small Peptide Immunosuppressant in Phage Peptide Library
ZHAO Qi , SU Dan , ZHOU Hui , LI Wei
J4. 2002, 40 (04):  403-407.
Abstract ( 958 )
Interleukin 2(IL-2) and its receptor(IL-2R) constitute one of the most extensively studied cytokine receptor systems. Thus ,we used MT-2 cells that could specifically express IL-2R α on the surface to screen a random hexa-peptide library and obtained the phage clones which had good combinative activities studied by Elisa. After DNA sequencing , three groups of relative peptide sequences were founded. The two groups were respectively similar to the sequence of IL-2(N-terminal) at amino acids 17-24 (LLLDLQMI) and the sequence of IL-2(C-terminal) at amino acids 114-124 (IVEFLNRW). In addition , the other group was similar to the motif (WSXWS) of IL-2R β,γ. Therefore ,it is inferred that these sequences might have mimicked the interaction site of IL-2 /IL-2R and the binding site of IL-2R αand β,γ. Further the synthesized peptide(AIVEFLNRW) could inhibit the T lymphocyte proliferation. These results provided the basis for the research and the development of the small peptide immunosuppressant drugs.

Abstract ( 1347 )
The technique of the flow injection on-line separation and preconcentration with VS-Ⅱ type anion exchange fabric combined with flame atomic absorption spectrometry was used to determine the trace elements Pt , Pd , and Rh in complicated samples. The analyzed solution with acidity 3﹪(HCL) passed through the column at a flow rate of 4.8mL/min , the enrichment time was 40 s , Pt , Pd , and Rh on the column was eluted with thiourea at a flow rate of 2.0mL/min , and introduced into the nebulizer system of FAAS. The detection limit is 0.064 μg/mL for Pt , 0.074 μg/mL for Pd and 0.025 μg/mL for Rh , the relative standard deviation(n=6) is less than 3﹪ , at least 55 samples can be analyzed in an hour. The method has been applied to determining trace Pt , Pd , and Rh in complicated samples with satisfactory results.

LIN Chun,KANG Li-juan,SU Li-min
J4. 2002, 40 (04):  419-422.
Abstract ( 1255 )
The toxicities of each and their binary mixtures of 2 ,4-DNT and five derivatives of nitro benzenes to vibrio fischeri were determined respectively. Toxicity unit ( TU ) , additive index ( AI ) , similarity parameter (λ) and mixture toxicity index( MTI ) were used to evaluate the joint toxicity. The results show that the five binary mixtures showed all synergistic action. The abilities of synergistic action of the five mixtures were compared. The result by MTI was a little different from those by other three methods , but in general , when mixed with 2 ,4-DNT , p-chloronitrobenzene had the weakest synergistic action.

Abstract ( 802 )
The changing pattern of Aneurolepidium chinense fuel moisture was studied in order to discover the changing pattern of Aneurolepidium chinense fuel flammability in Songnen Plain. In the process of withering , there is a trend for plant flammability to ascend , by the end of October the plant flammability reaches the maximum value in this period , in the latter period , there is an insignificant change in plant flammability. The post-rainfall flammability of Aneurolepidium chinense fuel goes down , but restores the pre-rainfall level after 7~8 h. In addition , the flammability is related with climatic factors.

WANG Hai-jing , MEI Zi-qing, LIU Xian-zhong , HUANG Yi-bing , PIAO Zhen-san
J4. 2002, 40 (04):  430-432.
Abstract ( 1049 )
We mensurated the lipase activity of Plancoccus Migula fermentation liquid , and studied the effects of all kinds of growth elements on the lipase yield. The result shows that the optimum conditions to yield lipase are that carbon source is glucose ; nitrogen source is peptone ; initial pH is 6.0 , and while K2HPO4, KH2PO4 ,CaCl2 , ZnSO4 and NaCl can promote lipase production ; CuSO4 and MgSO4 can partly decrease lipase output ; FeCl3 , BaCl2 , CoSO4 and MnSO4 inhibit lipase production completely. In addition non-ionic surface-active agents for instance Tween also promote lipase production.
