FifthOrder Finite Volume Method Based onthe Lobatto-Gauss Constructure

A onedimension fifthorder finite volume method based on the LobattoGauss constructure was designed, with its trial function being the fifth order Lagrange interpolated function, and the test function space being a piecewise constant space. The stability and convergence of the scheme was proved.
 The H1 and L2 error estimates were proved to be optimal. We discussed the superconvergence of numerical derivatives at optimal stress points. And the numerical experiments show the results of theoretical analysis.

Based on modifying the search direction of classic wideneighborhood algorithm, a new wideneighborhood interior point algorithm for linear programming was proposed. The convergence analysis of the new algorithm was presented. And the algorithm enjoys the iteration bound  O(nL), the same as the complexity result for classic wideneighborhood interior point method. The numerical calculation shows that the new algorithm is efficient.

The convergence performance of the extrapolated GaussSeidel iterative method and its relationship with H-matrix were discussed. The convergence relationship between the extrapolated GaussSeidel and the Jacobi iterative methods and also the range of the extrapolated parameter when the method
 converges were given. The upper bound estimates for the spectral radius of the extrapolated GaussSeidel iterative method were obtained by using the optimally scaled matrix and the estimator of M-1N. Meanwhile, equivalent conditions for general Hmatrices based on the extrapolated GaussSeidel and the GaussSeidel iterative methods were provided.

We obtained an inequality of Chen type for Lagrangian submanifolds of a class of indefinite complex space form using the Riemannian invariant and the optimization method on the Riemannian manifolds. In particular, we also showed that a Lagrangian submanifold of the indefinite complex space form attaining equality in the inequality must be totally geodesic.

For a square structure matrix A(p), we gave an algorithm which outputs an interval square matrix A(p+W) with the same algebraic structure such that A(p+W) contains a structure matrix A(p+w)  with rank deficiency k, where each element of A(p+W) is a small interval perturbation of the corresponding element of A(p).

Some existence theorems of positive solutions for the boundary value problem of fractional impulsive differential equation with Caputo derivative were proved with the help of the fixed point theorem of cone expansion and compression of norm type, obtaining the sufficient conditions about the existence of positive solutions and the relevant corollary.

We applied the finite difference method to solve American put option pricing problem under the CEV model, and got the numerical approximations of the option price and the optimal exercise boundary. The algorithm  is fast and accurate, which can provide a method of pricing the financial products for financial institutions efficiently, and it has theoretical and practical values. Numerical experiments verify the efficiency of this method.

The πcalculus was used to describe the process of the cloud services. Based on the description, the methods of detecting the two problems of the users’ unauthorized access and integrity verification was proposed. The process of the method can be described by the deploying of the virtual machines in the cloud, and the proposed method was compared with the security detection methods such as the Bayesian network, the prediction rule set and so on. The results show that the proposed method can simultaneously ensure the consistency and the security of cloud service process.

A 2.5dimension controlled source audiofrequency magnetotelluric coarsegrained forward parallel computing algorithm based on multicore was implemented. This algorithm decomposes the different frequencies to each thread of the CPU core, while the master thread executed the allocation of parallel tasks and slave threads computed the electromagnetic field values of each frequency in parallel. The relationship between the number of cores and parallel efficiency was analyzed. The experiments demonstrate that our parallel algorithm can gain a nearlinear speedup of logical cores of CPU, and at the same time, acquire the same data accuracy.

A new twostep location approach combing coarse location with fine location was presented for iris location under nonideal situation. Improved fuzzy C-mean clustering based on polar coordinates transformation was proposed for the coarse iris location and a kind of dynamic circular edge template was adopted by the fine iris location. Having used polar coordinates as clustering attribute and relaxed fuzzy clustering restriction, the proposed algorithm improves the robustness of iris location. The experimental results prove the validity of this approach convincingly.

According to the actual engineering requirements, the feature detection technology for image edge in image processing was applied to structure measurement at a high temperature. The hightemperature structural measurement method based on Canny edge detection and Hough transform algorithm was proposed. Based on the edge detection and extraction, the specimen structure is measured, which takes the form of piecewise linear representation. Then the width of the structure is obtained and it is converted into a mechanical performance parameter. This method takes advantages of image processing technology and needs low measurement conditions and has a good environmental adaptability. In addition, it adopts the optimization design of segment detection, with a high accuracy and good stability.

Single Image Dehazing Method Based on Filters

This paper introduces a novel single image dehazing method based on filters. Firstly, in order to maintain a good edge smooth texture, the initial atmospheric scattering light is estimated via bilateral filtering. Then, the initial atmospheric scattering light is refined via the adaptive median filter to keep sharp edges, smooth texture, and actual depth information. Next, the atmospheric light is obtained by the hierarchical searching method of quadtree subdivision. Finally, the dehazed image is restored by solving the atmosphere attenuation model. Compared with the results obtained by several existing classical dehazing methods, the experimental results show that the dehazed image by our proposed method is closer to the real scene image. Especially, it exhibits obvious superiority in dehazing regions with rich texture and distant scene.

The architecture constructs a credible framework from the bottom infrastructure to the upper application services by adding virtual trusted platform module in analog processor and the trusted platform module driver in the operating system. This architecture combines the trusted platform module in the virtualization platform servers, which can effectively solve the security problem in server virtualization platform.

In the light of existing spectrum allocation scheme being in a relatively broad range in cognitive radio networks, we designed quantum evolutionary algorithm to solve the spectrum allocation of wireless regional area network. An improved quantum gate operator was constructed. It calculates the quantum rotation angle adaptively to improve the ability to maintain the diversity of the population which can avoid falling into local optimum. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can obtain higher returns, and can meet the wireless regional area network demand for spectrum allocation.

An improved method about the classical algorithm of error diffusion was proposed and applied to the binarization of gray\|level image. The images were divided into two categories according to their grayscale distribution, which were processed respectively under the consideration of the ideology of error diffusion. Experiment results indicate that the binary image having been processed can simulate the continous\|tone gray image, which is coincident with the human visual properties furthermore.

The authors proposed an optimized algorithm for detecting genegene interactions based on MapReduce model, namely, MRANOVA.Compared with the traditional FastANOVA algorithm, this algorithm puts forward the concept of parallel processing during which an efficient parallel computing model is used. This improvement can make the problem of high computational complexities with the largescale data of the existing algorithms solved. Analyzing
results of the experiment, we can draw the following conclusion: MRANOVA algorithm can make the best use of the promising power of parallelism computation of the cloud platform. As the scale of the data becomes larger, the speedup is more close to the number of clusters. Thus, this optimized algorithm can detect epistatic interaction more efficiently.

An improved affinity propagation algorithm based on coefficient of variation was proposed via feature weighing of samples, which has overcome the impact of redundant information, and the new similarity measure method was proposed. The experimental results show that the proposed algorithm is not only quick and efficient but also better than the traditional affinity propagation algorithm and the classical Kmeans method for clustering when it was used to process the samples with more characteristics and attributes, and information overlap.

When the maximum likelihood estimate equation was used to solve the unknown node’s position, it was found that the ranging error for the anchor node (reference node) in the last equation has greater impact on the localization error. The maximum likelihood experiment based on received signal strength indication in the reality shows that in the area of 30 m×30 m square positioning, average positioning error decreases from 0.4 m to 1.0 m when the reference node is being set without ranging error.

For the poor antinoise performance limitations of the traditional fuzzy C-means (FCM) algorithm, we proposed a new spatial fuzzy clustering optimization algorithm for image segmentation. We added a wealth of spatial information between pixels in the image feature items, so that the traditional FCM sensitive
to noise was solved, and the robustness of the algorithm was enhanced. Experimental results show that our algorithm can achieve the effectivesegmentation of the 5% Gaussian noise images, and the results are significantly better than those by traditional FCM image segmentation algorithm.

We studied the Hopf bifurcation  and Hopf bifurcation control for a Van der PolDuffing system. First of all, we analyzed the Hopf bifurcation and designed the linear and nonlinear state feedback controller for the autonomous system. Then, we designed a state feedback controller based on Washout filter, and discussed the impact of the control gain on the existence of the Hopf bifurcation and the limit cycle amplitude. Results show that selecting appropriate control gain can not only control the occurrence of Hopf bifurcation, but also change the size of the limit cycle amplitude.

The energy deposition of differential regions and particles flow of electrons through the virtualsurface in material were calculated with Monte-Carlo method. Based on the simulated results of the calculated model of singlelayer, the extent of deviation of the results of the calculated model of virtualmultilayer was got. The calculated results demonstrate that the lower electron energy, the thinner singlelayer and the more virtuallayer, the extent of deviation of the virtualmultilayer calculated results is greater.

Based on pure nitrogen gas as dopant, N doped MgxZn1-xO films were deposited on quartz substrates by radio frequency magnetron sputtering, which were subsequently annealed at 550,600,650, 700 ℃, respectively, under 10-4 Pa. The effects of annealing temperatures on the photoelectric properties of N doped MgZnO films were studied. When the annealing temperature increased, the crystallinity of films was improved, the atomic ratio of Mg and Zn changed, the intensity of ultraviolet exciton emitting peaks increased and exhibited shift in room photoluminescence spectra, the Raman peaks at 272 and 642 cm-1 disappeared, and the conductivity of the films changed. Having been annealed at a temperature of up to 600 ℃, the MgZnO∶N film exhibits the best ptype conductivity.

A microstrip antenna based on highimpedance surface of microwave photonic crystals was proposed, which works on a centre frequency of
 11.75 GHz. High impedance surface can improve the characteristics of surface wave band gap. Simulation by HFSS shows that microstrip antenna gain increased around 0.6 dB and low back lobe radiation maximum reduced around 10 dB. Thus the overall performance of the antenna is improved.

In this study, the surfaceenhanced Raman scattering (SERS) spectroscopy was used to determine 1propanethiol and 2propanethiol in liquid gasoline samples, and a simple, rapid method for the quantification of 1propanethiol and 2propanethiol was developed. By using  silver nanoparticles as substrate, the influence of experimental parameters, such as the  concentration of sodium chloride, incubation time and pH of the system on SERS performance was examined. The experimental parameters were optimized in order to achieve the optimal SERS signals. The mass concentrations of 1
propanethiol and 2propanethiol in a certain range showed a good linear relationship with the enhanced SERS intensities under the optimum conditions of the experiment. With r>0.998 1, the limits of detection of the two mercaptans were 0.86 mg/L and 0.12 mg/L respectively. Experiments of commercial gasoline samples were also performed by this method, and the recoveries were 6288%—11151%, RSD≤894%. The experimental results indicate that the present method for  determing of mercaptans has a higher credibility.

Determination of Formaldehyde by FluorescenceQuenching of CdTe Quantum Dots

The effect of formaldehyde on the quenching of quantum dots (QDs) was studied via fluorescence quenching. The quenching mechanism was a dynamic quenching process, which was proved by the quenching rate constant Kq=5.67×1011 L/(mol·s) and UVVis absorption spectra. As a fluorescent probe, the quantum dots can be used to determine the concentration of formaldehyde, based on the linear relationship between the fluorescence intensity of CdTe QDs and the concentration of formaldehyde. Compared with spectrophotometry, this method can provide theoretical basis for developing a new type of formaldehyde fluophotodetector.

Stable crystalline mesoporous Al2O3 (M-Al2O3-n) supporting Pt with good catalytic activity for benzene combustion have been successfully prepared. M-Al2O3-ns support was synthesized from the self assembly of Al precursor with poly 4vinylpyridine (P4VP) template based on their strong acidbase interactions, followed by hydrothermal treatment at 180 ℃ and calcination at 550 ℃.  XRD patterns show that M-Al2O3-ns are highly crystalline  with
γ-Al2O3 character. N2 isotherms and pore size distribution show that M-Al2O3-ns have a high BET surface area (335 m2/g), large pore volume (1.36 cm3/g) and uniform mesopores (16.1 nm). SEM images show that M-Al2O3-ns have rough surface  and abundant mesopores. Catalytic tests show that M-Al2O3-ns exhibit  excellent activity for benzene combustion under rather mild conditions.

We compared the extraction effects of improved CTAB, TRIzol and RNAiso Plus, and investigated the extraction yield with different methods. It presents the advantages of high quality total RNA extracted by the optimized method, A260/A280 ratio was 196 and yield was more than 561 μg/g. Through reverse transcription\|polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR), we got GAPDH and EF-1-α- sequences.

Water and surface sediment samples were collected from the Tiaozi River, a branch of Liaohe River, in spring, summer, autumn and winter to determine the contents of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) and organochlorine pesticides (OCPs). On this basis, the distribution and sources of the two organic pollutants were investigated. Results indicate that the total PAHs levels in the water samples were 658.1—3 096.6 ng/L (arithmetic mean: 1 522.1 ng/L) and those in the sediments were 775.7—2 835.4 ng/g (1 374.0 ng/g). α,β,γHexachlorocyclohexanes (HCHs) were detected in all the samples and the total HCHs were 5.36—16.57 ng/L (10.93 ng/L) in the water samples and 2.87—5.56 ng/g (4.34 ng/g) in the sediments. Dichlorodiphenyl trichloroethanes (DDTs) in all the samples were below the detection limit. Temporospatial distributions of PAHs in the river water and sediments were similar: the PAHs levels decreased in the order of winter>autumn>spring>summer and decreased from the upstream to the downstream. In contrast, temporospatial distributions of HCHs in the river water and sediments were opposite: HCHs levels in the water decreased in the order of summer>spring>autumn>winter and reduced from the downstream to the upstream; HCHs levels in the sediments decreased in the order: winter>autumn>spring>summer and decreased from the upstream to the downstream. The results for source identification of PAHs and HCHs reveal that PAHs in the river were mainly from the combustion of coal and transportation, and HCHs were from the past use of lindane.

Water samples and surface sediment samples from Jilin City section of Songhua River were collected in wet period, dry period and level period and 16 individual concentrations of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) were analyzed by gas chromatographmass spectrometry(GCMS). The total mass
 concentrations of PAHs in the water samples in the wet period, dry period and the level period were 0.917—3.974 μg/L, 0.980—3.293 μg/L and 0.771—4.127 μg/L respectively. The total mass concentrations of PAHs in the surface sediment samples in the wet period and the level period were 1 035.5—1 732.0 ng/g and 1 188.5—1 632.0 ng/g respectively. The mass concentrations of PAHs in the water samples changed relatively large in different water periods but the concentrations of PAHs in the surface sediment samples were relatively stable. PAHs in the water and surface sediment in each water period originated both from the petroleum sources and the combustion sources according to the analysis by ratio method. The preliminary assessment with quotient method showed that the ecological risk of PAHs in water was low. The ecological risk assessment with effects range method showed that the surface sediments of this reach had certain ecological risk.

Aerogel fiber was prepared at room temperature and atmospheric pressure via solgel doped fiber method. Taking total petroleum hydrocarbons (TPH) as the target pollutant, we can determine the optimal preparation conditions of natural silicate composite silica aerogel. The results show that TPH as the target pollutant, the optimal ratio of raw materials for the composite aerogel was: V(TEOS)∶V(EtOH)∶m(attapulgite)∶V(H2O)∶V
(HF)=5∶15∶0.3∶2.5∶0.3. The environmental temperature is room temperature, without the pH regulation of reaction system. At the condition, the removal effect of TPH from water by silica aerogel was 88.57%.

Effects of activity (active and inactive) and existing form (aggregation state and dispersed state) of natural biofilms on the generation of H2O2 by the biofilms, and on the degradation of sodium dodecyl benzene sulfonate (DBS, used as a representative of degradable organic pollutant), under illumination or in darkness, were investigated through a serie of simulation experiments. Mechanisms of the H2O2 generation and DBS degradation by different states of natural biofilm under different conditions were also discussed. The results indicate that natural biofilms with biological activity can generate a certain amount of H2O2 under light or in darkness; the existing form of biofilms has an impact on both H2O2 generation and DBS degradation, and biofilms in aggregation state generate more H2O2 and degrade less DBS; light promotes not only the generation of H2O2 from the biofilms, but also the degradation of DBS.
